ABLE SEPTIC TANK

I can only second all the wonderful comments already given.

Anthony came to service our septic tank. He was on time (even early!), worked hard and completed the job well. My husband had uncovered one part of the septic tank, not knowing there were two parts. Anthony and he then worked to uncover the other part, after which Anthony completed the job. I definitely would call Able again.

They recommended contractor to replace tank. Normal charge for pumping was $235 and they charged $215, since our tank wasn't that full. They had pumped it 3 years ago.

They arrived on time and did the work in a good amount of time

Excellent. They are very professional and provide excellent service-from appointment scheduling to work being performed. Definitely will use this company again.

Able called en route to confirm timing. Showed up just ahead of schedule. The professionals were helpful and informative. They willing provided information. Given it was the first time the septic was pumped (and it was 15 years old) - they pumped both sides and explained the difference between the two. They checked/cleaned the filter - which definitely had prevented overflow of solid waste into the field. They recommended a slightly more aggressive pumping schedule. They were careful to avoid making a mess and worked quickly and efficiently.

This was the second time I used Able. Appointment was for ~ 9 AM and driver was to call when he was headed my way. At 9 AM no one had called so I called them. Jody at main office said their schedule had been upset by unexpected work and he forgot to let me know of delay. He estimated driver would be 2 hours late. Driver called when he was on the way. Anthony arrived on schedule and cleaning went well. I had installed culvert hatches on the tanks, so no digging or locating was required. I had arranged with Jody to take driver to a neighbors property after pumping my two tanks to see if dirver thought he could find and pump that tank the following week. Driver didn't have time to check out the third location. The cleaning of the third tank the following week at a neighbors house at ~ 9 AM. Driver (Gary) called at 8:15 AM and said the truck broken and estimated would take 3 hours to repair. Still waiting to hear from him 3 hours later.

Henry showed up about an hour before appointment time, which worked out perfectly. What I thought was the septic lid, was actually the secondary tank where the liquids go to be pumped to the septic field.  Henry found my main tank quickly, and dug about a 3' x 4' hole to uncover the lid to my tank, all the while answering any and all of my questions. Henry was very professional and friendly. 

Hiring Able Septic was a disaster that cost us over a thousand dollars, and required that we hire a lawyer to cover our damages. Our experience with this company is extremely negative and the company is unresponsive to our problem!
 
In February 2015, this company?s representative came out to do the septic inspection at our recently purchased home and told us in writing that the tank was located under a section of our driveway. The inspection could not take place until this section was broken up.
We had it removed at our expense, and Able returned in September 2015. Upon further inspection by Able?s representative, the tank turned out to be located some distance away from where the pad was located, so there was no need to tear up the pad.
 
The representative spoke with his superior. His boss told him Able was not liable for any damages. Afterward, we had the pad re-poured at our expense and attempted to contact owner Gary Blankenship twice by phone, leaving detailed messages, to discuss the situation.
 
Two months later, Mr. Blakenship had not returned phone calls or responded to the letter our lawyer
had sent him regarding reimbursement. This unapologetic behavior is unconscionable.

We called for service in the morning and he arrived later the same morning.  He was able to pump the septic with no issues. The gentleman who came was very friendly, knowledgeable, answered questions and provided very useful information. We were very happy with everything about our service and the company.

Called Wednesday afternoon, scheduled for Thursday morning 11 to 1, Clint called Thursday morning said he could come earlier if ok. Showed up at house pumped tank and closed up. Answered my questions and was very polite.

The operator was prompt, professional and knew what he was doing. He gave me a verbal report on the condition of our tank and I definitely will recommend the company.

I spoke to Daphne at Able last thing on 6/09, making an appointment for between 8am and 12pm the following morning. Sounds like excellent service so far. When no one had shown up by noon, i called the office, upon which no one appeared to have any answers. 
On 6/11 I spoke to Gary, the owner, prior to writing his review and he humbly explained that his wife Daphne had responded to an emergency with her mother and had inadvertently forgotten to schedule my appointment. 
Chase and John, both charming gentleman, were at the house on 6.10 shortly after i called; they located and unearthed the heavy tank lids quickly and efficiently. They chatted informatively about the procedure while avoiding a close proximity hornets nest and left the site covered and concealed, and judging by the roots they battled, it probably had not been unearthed for a good 10 years.
I would do business with Able again and i think you should too!
