Aacross The Skin Tattoos & Body Piercing Studios

This was my first tattoo, although I had been thinking of getting a Celtic trinity knot as a personal symbol for several years.  With my 50th birthday on the horizon, I felt that the time had come!  Someone gave me a card from Aacross the Skin, so I checked out their website as well as a few others.  I decided to email to see if I would get a timely response.  Cassandra replied quickly and answered several questions.  She also met me at the studio to show me examples, go over the details, and put me at ease.  Even though the studio was shorthanded at the time, she went above and beyond in accommodating my wish to have the tattoo done on my actual birthday.  
On the day of the tattoo, Cassandra was extremely detail oriented in creating a stencil and doing all the related prep work, such as determining the exact placement.  She kept apologizing for being so OCD, but my husband and I assured her that it was a good thing under the circumstances!  
The actual tattooing went much more smoothly and comfortably than I expected.  I now realize how much skill and artistry is required for a quality tattoo, and I feel fortunate that I went where I did.  For example, even though my Celtic knot is quite simple, it has beautiful color shadings that make it much more artistic than some similar tattoos I've seen.  Cassandra went over these as she did them so there were no surprises.   
Getting a tattoo was a great way to mark my 50th birthday.  There was a festive vibe in the studio--my husband was right beside me the whole time and we enjoyed talking with Cassandra, so it felt like a celebration.  
I can say that Cassandra takes obvious pride in her work and is intelligent, meticulous and creative.  I highly recommend her and Aacross the Skin.
