So a year and a 1/2 ago. Actually, it was a year and a 1/2 ago. Maybe almost 2 now. I bought a mower and a weed eater from this place. I gave them almost $4000. They brought me a mower and the motor broke in less than 2 weeks. The thing that holds on the blade. I hit a little stick and it broke. It wasn't a big stick. It was a little stick. I didn't hit a tree. I ran over a stick. Anyway, it broke so I called them up and asked them if they would take care of it. It's only been a week and a 1/2 since I bought inside body. They came and got it, never said a thing about charging me. Why would they charge me? It's within the warranty time. No. T only that, but I'm pretty sure you brought me the wrong mower.Because I went there and bought a two and the one I received is at one but i'm not gonna even talk about that because I might be mistaken. The guy came to pick up the mower.As he's loading it on the record he smashes the deck into the the tilt the ramp of the of the Roll back. He hit it pretty hard. I didn't get a chance to look at it. He drove it up real fast and then when he was tightening it up. He tightened it up and it smashed my front end. So I'm waiting for thi. S people at 4 / 4 country to call me and let me know that it's ready for me to pick up or let me know what's wrong with it or anything. And the weirdest thing happened. They waited until the day after the warranty ran out. I don't understand why they did that. But they waited until the day after the 30 days was up and then they called me and they told me a bunch of stuff was wrong with it. Now remember I ran over a stick. That was no more than 2 inches. They tell me all this stuff was wrong with it and I owe them $700. Now mind you. I just gave them $4000 less than 2 months before this. I told them that's not right. The guy got an attitude and hung up on me. So I tried to find a way to get the money to pay these people so I can get my my mower back and I get a call right before Thanksgiving and he tells me that if I don't come and get my mower right then but don't send somebody to get it. He was gonna sell it to somebody else. No I had this mower, a total of. 7 or? 8 days and I'm being blackmailed by these people. To come and pay this extortion amount or I can't get it back. He's gonna sell it to one of his buddies. For parts, I get it back and maybe they didn't even change anything that didn't do any work to it. They didn't replace any parts. I literally had to change out the little assembly. That holds them the blade. I change it out myself. I bought 2 of them. They crushed me $40 for 2 of them. And these people. Charged me $700 and they did nothing. The part that I changed was the same one that was broken when I sent it to them but, they didn't charge me for that. They charged me for what their guy who picked it up. Did I tipped him 50 bucks the first time? You brought it coz. He brought it to my house so so happy. I get out of my mobile phone I didn't even get done mowing the lawn the first time. I get a 2 inch stick and it breaks down.I can't remember.I can't remember the name of the piece but it holds the blade on and the belt wraps around it These people are sharks. Their snakes in the grass and if I were you, I would take my business elsewhere. I wish I never gave you people my money. The weed eater has been nothing but trouble. I hadn't had somebody else. Bring it back to them to get it fixed because I was afraid if I brought it there. They would extort me again so I have. Over $4500 into a mower. That doesn't cut right anymore because their driver messed my deck up in the front end of it and I have to pay for it. And they didn't even fix it. It's amazing how you can get. Just screwed over by people in this world and nobody gives a s***. I went there because it was a small business that I wanted to share local. And I used to do business with them when I worked close to them in a store at Battery Pro. And they did this to me a person that helped them on occasions when they got their window kicked in or when they needed a battery quick, I would not use this company for anything, I wouldn't buy string from them again. You gotta treat your customers better than that. You guys treated me like I was nothing and I gave you close to 5 grand I live paycheck to paycheck. I tried to tell this guy.I didn't do that damage to it.There was no damage done to it.The front of it was fine, it was Perfect perfect condition. When that man got on it to drive it to back to the place where I had just purchased it to get it fixed for me. It was perfect. The only thing wrong with it was. One piece was broken under it. I tried to explain it to them. They didn't want to listen to what I was saying. They rather argue with me and tell me that I owe them money. They forced me to pay them $750. Or they were gonna steal my equipment.That I paid them for this was all within 4 months of purchase.I do not recommend them.
Description of Work: The only work I needed done was them to replace the spindle. The man that came to pick it up, ran it into the back of his truck.Loading it up, broken all the hell and then blamed me.Don't ever buy from these people.

4 x 4 Country My mower was picked up on July 17th. I was told that I was about 12th in line for repairs and that they would probably get to it on Thursday or Friday. After hearing nothing I called on July 20th and was told that they had not gotten to it yet. On the 25th I was told that I was now 26th in line. On August 2nd I was called and was told that the mower needed two belts which is why it was in the shop. The repair guy called and then described all that was wrong which totaled between $800 and $900 assuming no other problems were discovered. That did include pickup and delivery. I never told the repair man that the items that he was repairing had been replaced when I had the mower totally gone thru before the season started. The repair man then informed that he had noticed a slight tick in the engine and that the head gaskets needed replacing as they were leaking badly….they were not leaking when the mower was picked. I will pay the bill and never return to 4 x4 Country. Lies and dishonesty should be rewarded and this review is your reward. I have had many people work for me in the past and I can tell you that this repairman would be gone immediately! THE REST OF THE STORY….the bill turned out to be $1113.30……I was never called to explain the additional repairs and the repair guy never even asked for approval….he just did the repairs! I feel for the person that goes to this business for repairs and is never called to get approval for 100’s of dollars of repairs and does not have the money. THE ULTIMATE KICKER….the repair guy is one of the owners!! Dishonesty should be rewarded and I will continue to post this warning about the business practices of 4 x 4 COUNTRY!!
Description of Work: The question should be what work was requested...belts replaced and oil change....there is even a note on the bill that I requested a call if you run into anything else! The owner should view their own invoice!!

Dropped my leaf blower off less than a week ago and they gave me an estimate on how much it would cost. They were right on and even fixed another problem that I forgot to mention. Friendly, courteous and tried to fix the problem for free at first, and when that failed, they took the blower and fixed it right. Great overall experience.
Description of Work: Leaf blower repaired. These guys service chainsaws, too and I have had excellent results with them several times now.
