We worked with Schneider's Wilmington folks, Nick and Melinda. It started with a phone call to Melinda and Nick's first visit a few days later to obtain info necessary to prepare an estimate. He was very professional, polite, and knowledgeable. He addressed some concerns we had, answered all our questions, and explained the process. We received an estimate by email the following day, and then visited their office/warehouse to select our granite. Melinda will provide as much, or as little, input as you'd like. They had a very good selection, and two or three options that could have worked for us. Nick then returned to our home a few days later to prepare the templates for the new counter-tops and to tie down the details, like edges, corners, height of back splash, type of sink (included at no cost) and location of seams. We then called Melinda to schedule the work and make partial payment.
The install could have been done within about two weeks but, due to our schedule, we waited about a month. Nick and Charles did the work. We'd already disconnected the sink and emptied the kitchen drawers. Six hours after starting the work, we had new, beautiful counter-tops. The removal of the of the old tile counters was difficult but Nick and Charles figured out the best way to do it, without creating a mess or doing any damage to the cabinets, wall or floor. All we have left to do is plumb the sink (they don't do that part so you either need to hire a plumber or do it yourself if you're getting a new sink) and the transformation will be complete.
We got what we wanted and what they agreed to do, without any drama, delay, or other difficulty. We couldn't be happier with the experience.

Showed up on time, took all measurements, showed up a few days later and the installed quickly, right on schedule. Finished job looks very good. Include L shaped counter, with island and breakfast bar.

Prompt scheduling, professional attitude.  Entire staff was a pleasure to work with.  We'll be using them to redo our kitchen in the future.

First trip they measured for countertop. Second trip they installed countertop. All service personnel were very professional, on time and cleaned up after themselves. I was very pleased.

Schneider Stone provided a quote based on my measurements and pictures over email.  After we agreed to terms and picked out the slabs of granite we wanted they came out and measured the kitchen themselves.  I then returned to their Asheboro location to help in deciding which slab I wanted each counter section cut out of.  They returned about 1 week later to install counter top, back splash and under mount sink.  The install crew was quick but through.  They were short one section of back splash but another installer returned within a few days with the back splash piece and installed it quickly.  The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable.  They are also mindful of safety, children are not allowed in the granite slab yard, for obvious reasons.  I would highly recommend them and look forward to working with them again when we are ready to update the bathrooms.

Great folks, knowlegable and professional. Installation went very smoothly and we were satisfied enough in 2010 to call on them in 2013 to help trim granite to install a new stove.

I liked that I was able to find a scrap piece. They have a really good selection of left over pieces so we were able to find something there at a discount.

From start to finish it could not have gone better. 

We use them because they offer good products and great service. They use a laser for cutting counter tops, so they always fit perfectly. We are extremely please with them, and would recommend them anytime.

Schneider replaced my kitchen counter tops and master bathroom vanities and did an outstanding job.  From Mike's first visit to measure and provide an estimate, to the installation, it was a pleasure to work with all Schneider representatives. The installers were neat, professional, courteous, and very efficient.  Chanda in the office was patient with my changes and the challenges in scheduling because of my demanding and changeable work schedule.  I was able to go to their yard in Asheboro and to their supplier in Raleigh to pick out the marble slab I wanted,  and was able to take samples from their showroom home to ensure I got the product that worked the best.   I LOVE my new counter tops.  I only wish I hadn't waited so long to make them so beautiful.

They are very clean in their work as well as being careful. They have knowledgeable staff that really knew their trade. I have actually hired them to our bathroom next.
