The staff is so nice and thorough in their examination and explanation. Every vet I've ever been to will advise and suggest all kinds of tests this vet is no different that's the previous ones i went to all suggested This time there was a more genuine caring that was so obvious with all the staff I was impressed and so glad we transferred our care

My initial visit with my French Bulldog with Dr. Barnett was good though I first had the run the gauntlet of a receptionist who insisted on all sort of unnecessary tests, including heart worm test, though I had full medical records in hand that reflected the dog had been on heart worm medication her entire life. A few months later, I took in a kitten I had discovered in the woods who was emaciated and near death. Dr. Behrens was great and most compassionate. However, I was soon handed over to Dr.Bird who insisted on a weekly regimen of baths and treatment for ringworm based upon an initial and quot;woods lampand quot; (IR lamp) test. After the second bath, I asked Dr.Bird for a progress report on the ringworm. She discountingly stated that it was too early and I needed to continue treatment. After the third bath, I asked again for a status of the ringworm treatment. Dr.Bird was again discounting of my request and said it was too early to tell. She cheerfully commented this treatment could take weeks if not months. I asked if she had conducted a woods lamp test and she said no, it was still too early. I asked for a woods lamp test immediately and she stated it would not be effective since the cat had just been bathed. She was, however, quick to remind me I needed to set a follow-up bath and immunization appointment. Clearly, this vet is more into the business model of profit from a recurring customer than treating the animal. What sort of vet who believes in science would not first check to see if their prescribed treatment is at least doing no harm? Rather than measure results, she preferred to continue milking me for visits over verifying effective treatment. I'll go elsewhere with my four pets in the future.

We have boarded our dogs here before, we also use this facility as a vet, however this review is about boarding and grooming specifically. Dropped two dogs off approximately 5pm the Friday before Christmas as we were going away for the holiday. Stopped to pick them up Wednesday morning at 8am when they open. First complaint is they charged 5 full days. When asked about this, we were told it was because they walked the dogs at 730am. But they wouldn't allow us to pick them up until 8am.
Second issue is with grooming. We asked to have the dogs nails trimmed. They didn't trim them until we arrived to pick them up. We had to wait almost 30 minutes for something that was supposed to have been done.
The last part is the icing, they told us that they didn't like one of our dogs. The vet came out herself and told us that she was hard to control.

They provide good service. Randolph's are compassionate and caring. We have not had any problems with them at all. We are always treated well when we go in for service.
