The scope of the project included taking several large (tall) trees completely out that were a potential for damage to our house and other structures; several stumps to be ground down, trimming of canopies on remaining trees and also the removal of several heavy limbs on others. The Pegram Tree Service crews and trucks showed up on the scheduled date early that morning. The crew was knowledgable, professional and very respectful of our property and they went to work. The tall trees were taken down with ropes lowering the cut branches down first then sections of the tree trunk were taken down. The stumps were ground and the dirt was filled in. All of the wood and branches and chips were removed from our property. In addition to our trees; a neighbor asked for some of the wood and Pegram Tree Service took the wood to his house for him. By 4:30 the crew left and we were extremely impressed with the job they had done for us. We have a few more trees to take down and I will have Pegram Tree Service back to do that job in a few months.

Pegram's arrived on time and removed the tree as they said.  One tree could not be removed due to racoon nest, but will get it done later.  Quick work, good clean up, stump ground as described.  Would use again.

The service group of 4 arrived on time with all of their equipment. One of the young men whom I assume was the supervisor(and the one who actually went up in the trees) walked around the yard with me and noted what needed to be done. The group collected the limbs put them in the chipper and continued to cleaning up. It happened to be a very hot day but that did not stop them from working hard. After limbs were chipped and loaded on the truck, they cleaned up the yard of stray limbs and with the blower cleaned up the street and curb.
One incident did occur when a huge piece of the tree trunk, which had rope on it, fell to the ground and then bounced to another nearby spot damaging an underground irrigation pipe.   The supervisor called the office to make them aware of what had happened.
I called the Irrigation service  people to repair the pipe. Upon turning on the sprinkler system, it was noted that another pipe was damaged where the medium size stump had been chipped away. Repairs were made.  When I spoke to the tree service  office, I was told that they would take care of the bill.
I would highly recommend Pegram Tree Service and I plan to use them again in the late fall to remove another tree which appears to have an issue.

I was extremely impressed with work Pegram's. We have a 6 foot heigh backyard wooden privacy fence. Two of the trees that were removed were within 1 foot of our fence, and they were able to remove and grind the stumps with no damage to the fence. They also pruned two large beautiful maple trees. The pruning work took the longest time (4 hours). They really did a beautiful job on the pruning. I was totally impressed. They cleaned up all of the branches, leaves, and stumps.

They did an excellent job. Their prices were very reasonable, they got the work done quickly and professionally, overall we were very pleased with their work and we would definitely use them again in the future.

I was looking for an estimate to tend a damaged tree from the ice storm. Due to minimum funds, I was only looking to address the damage at this time which I indicated at the time of the estimate.
Pegram Tree Service was great at working with me and my schedule. Had the tree not been between my house and a neighbor's property, I would have allowed them to come when I was at work. The neighbor's are renters and my concerns was the owner's shed that my tree hangs over. I asked for a copy of the insurance, liability and worker's compensation which I received promptly. The crew came on time, very professional, cleaned up the mess and very efficient. They were all very nice.
The crew did exactly what I hired them to do. It was worth every penny for the peace of mind. I was very pleased with the company and when I need additional tree work, I will rehire them.

If you are looking for a tree service that is professional, fast and do what they tell you they are going to do for the exact price you were quoted this is it. And they even clean up your lot 100%. Two of my neighbors were so inmpressed they hired Pegrams to remove some trees for them.

They came to my house and within a day removed two large trees from the yard both with branches over the house. They trimmed 3 other trees, including the removal of several large branches over the house. THe ground down the 2 stumps of the trees they cut down and removed all of the wood.

Price was higher than previous estimates, but we never were able to get back in touch with other bidders. Pegram was the most professional. It was our understanding that they would provide someone to stack the firewood but that did not happen. After a few weeks they did have someone not related to their business contact us and we hired them to stack the firewood. Each stack collapsed within the first week and we ended up stacking it ourselves.

A Willow Oak tree in my back yard was hit by lightning. I met with several tree removal service businesses that had either been recommended to me by other people who had used them, or that I found on the internet. I found Pegram on the internet and I'm SO GLAD I did! This company did an OUTSTANDING job! They were the most reasonably priced, and they provided FAST and SAFE tree removal. I asked for the option to leave the useable wood (for my wood-burning fireplace), and they accommodated the request, and reduced the price as this was less debris removal. Pegram was completely professional, cleaned up all the debris (except for the wood I asked them to leave), and included grinding the tree stump. I was extremely pleased with the results and would HIGHLY recommended Pegram Tree to anyone needing any type of tree service!
