We had a garage floor coated one year ago. Nancy decided what the floor needed. She decided the floor did not need a vapor barrier even though she put down a vapor barrier on the other two garage floors Garage Authority did the same year. We were unaware there was no barrier as we trusted her to make the decision since she had decided about the other two floors. One year later the floor looked terrible. They came out and said it was because there was no vapor barrier. Before they would repair the floor we had to pay them $600 which we did because we were selling the house and wanted it on the market as soon as possible. Nancy story was that she was trying to save us money which we did not ask her to do. I do not usually write reviews, but this was poor at the very least. The floor they did for our personal home seems fine. The other house was sold, so I do not know about it. It was very disappointing that we had to pay to get them to repair the floor.

We never like any situation to escalate to the point where frustration and disappointment turns into something we cannot resolve between us and the customer directly. I know it has been years, but I realized this awful review is still posted so wanted to apologize publicly for your dissatisfaction. Moisture is a difficult thing that is hard to predict or control if there is no evidence. We don't warranty against moisture for that reason. When I made the initial recommendation, I did so in good faith based on years of experience looking at the floor and not intending to compromise any best practices. I discounted the fix from a normal retail price to compensate for the inconvenience. I apologize that you felt mistreated, and that the situation was mishandled, we take this very seriously and have been very careful to insure better communication with our customers. If we can do anything for you in the future, we will apply a discount again to make up for this past occurrence. Thank you and God Bless you and your family in 2025."

We were impressed with the initial consultation in that Ms. Martin sought to meet our needs. Office staff kept us posted as to when work would be done. Installers were efficient and polite. There was follow-up to see if we were satisfied, which we were. We would recommend Garage Authority highly.

Nancy was great to work with and walked me through all of the options. She was very professional as was her crew who showed up when promised and did the work correctly and on a timely basis. Every time I walk out into the garage I admire the new storage system. I highly recommend The Garage Authority!!!

If you are considering an epoxy floor for a sun room or garage definitely keep Nancy Martin at The Garage Authority in mind. They fussed over every detail, removed an old carpet and the ugly adhesive underneath, fixed imperfections in the concrete slab, and delivered a job that was perfection including a copper chip finish at no added charge. Did concrete steps to the basement too, went underneath a storm door for continuity. These are exceptionally responsible people. They really care. Harold from Horse Shoe, NC.

We had our entire garage done about a year or so ago. From flooring to shelving. The floors still look immaculate to this day! We had to call them back for some minor things and they truly do stand behind their work. We are very impressed and grateful. We highly recommend The Garage Authority not just for their workmanship, but even more so for their commitment to stand behind their work!

I am extremely pleased with my new epoxy floor coating. Also, they installed bike pulleys which have created additional space in the garage. The price, quality and work performed were all outstanding. Not only does the floor look great but it is so much easier to keep clean. I highly recommend The Garage Authority.

Project: Monkey Bars, Slat Wall, Coat Concrete Floor with Epoxy black/gray/silver specks. Amazing project outcome. Tommy, Nancy and the crew are fabulous people. Such a joy to work with this company. Excellent customer service. Always phoned to let you know they were on their way or running behind. Quality workmanship. Really pleased with new epoxy floor covering. Cleaned up nicely when finished. Would certainly recommend them to others.

The Monkey Bars crew created an incredible transformative conclusion.There were no short cuts. They arrived in a timely fashion, spending long hours on several days, assuring customer satisfacftion upon completion. Prospectdive clients need not be concerned about anything with Daniel Gibbs at the helm!
