Working with Kilowatt Electric was a positive experience from start to finish. We scheduled a site visit to receive an evaluation of the work needed along with an estimate. The owner, Samuel, arrived on-time and provided a reasonable estimate within 24 hours of his visit. We waited two months to schedule the work due to the holidays and travel. When we called to schedule the work, the office quickly located our estimate and was able to schedule the work within two weeks. On the day of the appointment, two employees showed up 15 minutes early and got right to work. They spent the next 5 hours quickly and professionally completing the work including an additional need that was not part of the original estimate. They left all work areas clean before leaving for the day. We would definitely hire Kilowatt again!

Job was reviewed, estimate/quote was made. Estimate cost was considered a little too hi, so removed a couple items wanting done. Lead estimator was informed of new HVAC installation, but did not suggest replacement of outside disconnect with extension until called back after HVAC contractor required it to be completed. Learned later this is normally completed and should have been explored & suggested when evaluation for job was discussed. Electric company came back out immediately and corrected the situation, but cannot help but believe this additional trip and effort cost a little bit more then necessary.

Sam and Walden were both very polite. Sam came to do the estimate on the things I needed done and Walden did the work. I would certainly use them again. They both came on time. The estimate was for 4hrs but was done in 2 hrs. He cleaned up after the work was completed. I have more work that will be needing an electrician and Kilowatt has me as a customer forever.

Kilowatt was responsive to all my desires. They were on time for the estimate and on time for the job. They did a professional job and cleaned up when they were done. I am very happy with their service. I gave them a "B" on price only because they have to travel a good distance from Arden to my house and there is a time charge which increases the total cost of the project. It was still worth what I paid.

I have used this group twice recently and can highly recommend them! I remodeled my 60’s kitchen and had some ‘unique’ wiring. Sam, the owner, was quick to respond to my call and gave a reasonable estimate of all the work needed. The crew, Ponce and Mark, were great; very knowledgeable and professional! Because this was a remodel, I needed them to come at 2 different times and I asked if the same guys could return and they did! No surprises; on time, and they cleaned up!! I will be calling the Kilowatt group again!

The Kilowatt work crew were prompt, courteous, and diligent. Our 1971 ranch needed aluminum wire replaced with copper, and the owner of Kilowatt understood how important this work was to our family's sense of security. They arrived when they said they would and they carefully assessed the wiring throughout the house. We are grateful for their expertise and the quality of their work. We will call on them again for future electrical work in our home.

We awoke to 19 degree temps and found that our greenhouse heaters were blowing cold air. Called Kilowatt Electric (first on Angie's List). Explained the problem and didn't even need to say "this is an emergency"! The man on the phone said they would get someone out right away. Within an hour, Armando and Santiago showed up at our door, found the problem to be incorrectly sized breakers which burned out the hating elements. They went to another job while we went to purchase new heaters. They then returned that afternoon, removed the breakers and replaced them with correct amp breakers. The professionalism of these two men as well as the prompt response of the business was a breath of fresh air! AND the price was well under what we had anticipated!

First of all Kilowatt Electric was not my first pick... I picked another electrical company and they didn’t show up to their designated appointment with me.. and then when the other company finally did show up they asked to speak to the man of the house.. why I asked? I was the one who called and they spoke with on the phone and I was the one paying... I got no response so I decided that very moment this was not going to work... So on to the next electrical company.. Kilowatt electric I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company,.. first of all to have the owner of the company come out and give me several options on the scope of work that I needed done and keep me in budget was amazing!!! I thought the prices were more than fair hired them on spot, the crew started immediately they were very respectful, courteous, clean and they got the job done on time.. thank you Sam and Kilowatt Electric for giving me hope that there still honest people in business...

I did my research before commiting to Kilowatt Electric for my remodel project. This company is highly rated here on Angie's List and on Google. Kilowatt Electric is the most professional service team I have ever worked with. I was walked through every step of the process. I received a fair estimate, and was given options to fit my budget. The crew was always prompt and courteous. From setup to cleanup I felt as if they were working on a project in their own home. I was very impressed to learn that many people I know have used Kilowatt Electric for electrical service needs in their home or business. At first I was impressed with them. Came over and gave an estimate. However the rough-in alone ended up costing what he quoted the whole job at. When I asked for a firm rice to finish the work it was triple what I got it done by another licensed firm, so I switched. In addition to the high price paid, several things were not done correctly, (e.g. no switch for closet light and no thermostat for the heaters) He never honored my Angies list deal (owes me the hours) and so he agreed to send me a refund check for that. I had gotten a lengthy email and felt they would be honorable but I did not get it--called him-he said it had been sent and he would check on it. Then they stopped returning calls or emails.

It took searching and investigation to find the cause of this mysterious problem. After patiently eliminating all the possibility of the causes, it turned out to be a previous electrical install made by my husband that caused the damage. This PROVES always call the Professional not a novice handyman husband to do a tradesman's job !! Thanks

I could not have been more pleased. They arrived exactly at the time of our appointment and went to work immediately. They worked efficiently and were thorough in their cleanup. They were extremely accommodating to several requests including minor repair to a fire alarm and helping me find the right angles for some picture lighting fixtures.
