IMPORT CONNECTION

I've used Greg/Import conections for over 10 years. And I agree with the reviewer who wishes there was an A+++ score. Greg NEVER overcharges and sometimes doesn't charge at all! Most recently my 2004 Rav 4 has been going dead if it sits for more than 5 days. On my first trip in he ran some diagnostics and couldn't find a draw; but he did feel the battery was a "bad egg" even though it was only 1.5 years old. he ordered me an Interstate battery and that is all he charged me for. He did not charge a cent in labor! In years past he worked on my 89 Camry many times and if he couldn't fix the problem, or if we decided to just let it be (I was getting my last dollars worth) he didn't charge me labor! he is willing to fix things to factory spec, or if you want a lower cost, fix things so they work but for less money! He is HONEST and friendly and knowledgeable.

I wish there was a rating for A++++. This isn't the first time he's helped me with a potential car problem. Greg and his employees are first and foremost, HONEST! I can't say enough good things about them. Of all the mechanics and repair shops I've been to, Import Connection is the ONLY one who has proven to be trustworthy, courteous, friendly, reliable, and fair. More importantly, for someone who isn't very knowledgeable with cars, it's easy to be taken advantage of when it comes to car repairs and high estimates, and this is something Import Connection doesn't do. They take the time to explain what the problem is, how to fix it, etc.
Another perfect example of their honesty:
I was told by another repair shop that my car's head gasket was leaking and it would cost $1600 to repair. I drove to Import Connection for a 2nd opinion. Greg poured a particular fluid in my car's radiator, showed me what to look for, and explained if the gasket was leaking, I would know it from this liquid. He then told me to come back in a week. Again, he didn't charge me. One week later, there was no evidence of my gasket leaking. That was 3 years ago...and still no leak! He saved me a lot of money and for that, I am so very grateful!
