The workmen who planted, dug, and mulched worked hard and were very pleasant. The one who was in charge - the designer- walked them briefly through the yard and left, saying she had to get back to work. We were very disappointed. I expected so much more from BB Barnes. I love the retail store and their employees, but the landscaping designer was basically unqualified. She did come by soon after it was done, and we were happy to have it over with. About a week later, she stopped by to tell me I had to water them. They were dying. She did go out and get soaker hoses and a sprinkler( which I paid for) and helped me set it up. The company never called to see how it went and if we were pleased. It was a mistake!!! We should have talked to other landscapers, but we thought it "WAS BB BARNES"!!!!
Description of Work: it was mostly labor by the work crew...removing unwanted plants, planting new ones, and mulching. We expected better quality plants, larger sized plants, and a plan that made a statement. After all, we paid plenty, and received no originality in design or choice of plants or quality of plants.
