VCA Apex Animal Hospital

We called with a lameness issue of our show horse. It was a phone consultation. When I told the vet on call about what I thought happened, he just said to give her bute and stall rest for three days and she should be fine. well, that was not the case at all. We used to use this hospital when it was Apex Equine and was very satisfied for years. Apparently this hospital has changed hands because there no longer is the level of concern that I was used to. Will not use again.

I have taken my dogs there for four years. I spend too much. Their staff is great and knowledgeable. Their prices are a little bit high; I stay because of the staff. The animals are well cared for.

Their price is very reasonable. We've had very good service from the vets. They always follow up with us afterwards and they really care and they wanna make sure they get it right. They always ask lots of questions and take the time to understand the problems.

Their pricing is out of line with other kennels in my area. They charge $21 per day in comparison to others in the teens like $15. They recently changed hands. With this, they decided to remodel the business. During this period, I did not want my pet around the construction noise and chaos. I have chosen not to use them again based on pricing.
