"After deep consideration we have decided to counter offer the member's proposal for him to pay us at 50% discount due to unsatisfactory experience. He received services on Aug 6, 13, 27 - Sep 10, 24 and Oct 5, 2012. A total of $240 worth of landscaping service. However, we never received payment for any of the 6 services we provided. We truthfully state that we also never received any complaint about the grass being dead until March 6, 2013, 5 months after our last visit. Therefore, we were never given the opportunity to correct the problem he thought we created. Since he never gave us the chance to rectify the "issue" then paying $2,500 to fix his lawn by another company was his choice. We never forced him to do it since he never submitted a complaint directly to our company. Since it was his choice we cannot be held liable for his decisions, however we do understand he was not happy with the 6 services he received therefore we are willing to provide 50% discount. It is unfortunate there was such big miscommunication here but we feel it is our right to get paid for our work. He can provide us payment of $120.00 and the other $120.00 he can consider good faith reimbursement that he can apply towards the $2,500 he chose to spend on his own. Regarding the trespassing, he claims he did not know anyone was going into his property but we were there for 6 times. How can someone trespass for 3 whole months without any family member noticing? If so, why was the police never involved? Trespassing is a crime that can only be proven by the legal system. There are absolutely no documents proving such crime in this case. Also, if he claims he did not know we were in his property then how can he say that we killed his grass? These are two contradictory statements. Also, we have 6 customer in his same street. 4 of them we cut bi-weekly and 2 weekly. None of them have accused us of killing their grass. Our mowers are set at the same level every time. Why would we want to just kill his grass? We hope the member understands and accepts the reasons for our counter offer. He can call us anytime. Triangle Turf Care has been in the professional landscaping business for over 10 years and growing at an average rate of 25% every year. This is only accomplished by satisfying our customer’s needs and requirements. We do not claim to be a perfect company but we are always here to listen to our client’s wishes, request or even criticism. We become better by working on what challenge us. We wished he would have contacted us as soon as our service became an issue for him and not five months after the fact."
