Shawn Mullins Siding

Our roof is 18 years old, and they have come out several times to look at it and see if it is ready to be replaced. They say each time that it is not ready yet. The first time, Mr. Mullins himself came out, and that was just a delightful conversation.

I had called several providers in town. Shawn was the first one who actually responded, said "yes," returned my calls, showed up as promised, and completed the repair. All hassle-free and over the Memorial Day weekend to boot!

No real problems.  He was easy to work with from start to finish.  I wasn't in a hurry, so mine wasn't a tight schedule to keep.  He came out, gave a quote, and then the ball was in my court.  I had to delay a couple of weeks due to some personal things on my side.  When I said I was ready, he came out promptly and took care of the job.  The work was neat and was impossible to distinguish from the rest of the trim since he matched it exactly.  No problems in the work, the communications, nor payment arrangement.  The jobs I had for him to do were fairly small, so there wasn't really a grandiose project with lots of opportunity for things to go wrong.  But I'm difficult to please, and I had nothing to complain about with him nor his company.  Only good things to say about him and his work.

We noticed holes in the siding of our chimney and decided to get that repaired. Since we were having that work done, we also got quotes for having the entire house painted and having the deck cleaned and resealed. When they came to do the estimate, they also pointed out a few cracked roofing shingles that they could replace. Our house is on a slope so the back of the house is the equivalent of 3 stories, so it's somewhat difficult paint job. Also, our deck is about 10 feet off the ground due to the slope and is fairly large at 12 by 20 feet. They were able to begin the siding work almost immediately and completed it within a couple of days, then did the powerwashing of the house and deck. They began painting on a Thursday and completed it along with the deck on a Sunday. They asked permission to work on Saturday, and then again on Sunday, which we said yes to. All days they came out they arrived slightly early, were very courteous the entire time, cleaned everything up well, and did an excellent job.
