About us

Our Mission: To provide residential home improvement and renovation support services that when set against project cost still create additional equity and value in homes. Our desire is to build relationships, not just additions, bathrooms and kitchens. We strive to build a customer base that trusts us and is very satisfied with both quality of the workmanship and materials being used. Our History: Ten years experience in residential renovation work. The owner of the company, Mike Rohrer has degrees both in Sport Management and Civil Engineering. This academic background along with a decade of carpentry work in the Anne Arundel County area help Omni Construction compete for projects most remodeling companies wouldn’t have the technical expertise to take on. Our Services: Omni Construction Company is a design/build renovation company. We build projects where blueprints are already provided for us, or work with homeowners and architects to design new additions or the renovation of existing spaces. Our desire is to work with homeowners to really tailor each new job to fit their personality and day to day needs. Our project variety is dramatic; from additions, decks and screened in porches to garages, carports, kitchens and bathroom remodels. We take most any project regardless of simplicity or complexity. Our simple projects include gutters, window and door replacement, siding and trim repair, built in cabinets, roof repair etc. Why Omni?: We have never had a single dissatisfied customer. We will go the extra mile to make sure you have the best possible experience.

We are so happy we chose Omni Design Build to finish our third floor! They did an amazing job!!! They literally took our ideas on paper and made them come to life. Mike was involved in every step of the process and his team was professional and courteous. Mike gave us a timeframe for the project and stuck to it. His team was very careful not to damage anything in our home- they put down floor protection from the front door all the way to the 3rd floor space and were extremely careful when carrying materials in and out of the house. They kept the work space tidy by cleaning up each day so that we were able to walk through and see the work completed. Mike used quality vendors for our cabinets, countertops, tile, carpet, etc. He also had great communication and checked in with us constantly to make sure we were happy and everything was exactly how we wanted it. Mike and his team made our dream come to life and now we have a wonderful place to spend time together as a family. We highly recommend Omni Design Build!!! The Cecco Family =)

Mike and his team built an addition onto the back of our house. He turned our screened-in porch into a guest room/office. I received quotes from seven different contractors. Mike was the most knowledgeable and most competitively priced. I felt confident in his description of the project, and my confidence in him only grew as the project went on. He and his team worked hard every day and were always professional. With four young children usually playing in the nearby kitchen, I was bracing myself for a long and stressful winter while the construction took place. This was not the case at all. We were astonished by how quickly they worked! His whole team was kind and pleasant. They always operated quickly, efficiently, and with the highest quality of workmanship. I absolutely love our beautiful new room. My in-laws are sleeping in there right now and they love it as well. It looks like it was part of the original house, and I feel like it gives our first floor a more polished and expensive look. I would not hesitate to hire Mike for future projects, and I will definitely be recommending him to other friends.

They recommended an addition layout that was built to capitalize on our view of the lake that was previously unseen due to the house's layout.  The new addition is seamless and you can't tell were the old house ends and the new house begins.  Looks of great natural light flooding into the house now that makes the entire living space more enjoyable.

It's a beautiful job! MIke and his crew were very professional, courteous and arrived promptly. Their work was excellent (but it is up to me now to re-paint my new ceiling and walls over the primer. Not a big deal but I would have been glad to pay extra not to have to do that.) That said, the value for the work provided was excellent. They even installed my two tall cabinets (supplied by me) that now make up my pantry. One of the workers even changed out one of the doors so they both open outward--that was great attention to detail. The job took three days, with the electrician coming back on a fourth day. I have waited a long time to get this work done, and it was so worth the wait. Omni Construction gets my vote for future work. Thanks, guys!

Estimate was far below other contractors' bids. Mike showed up on time had most of the work done the first day. Despite recovering from the flu he came out and finished the job within our timelines. He graciously let us use his tools for our renovation when he wasn't there. Very cognizant of ensuring his work didn't interrupt other projects going on at the same time. We will probably use him again on another project.

Their work was excellent. Probably the most impressive thing is their attention to detail. Our ceilings and walls were not plumb but you could not tell after Mike and crew were done. You can not use caulk on top of trim molding so he milled by hand to account for every ripple in the ceiling so that the trim was straight and blended perfectly into the ceiling. Amazing wood and tile work! This is especially important when you are dealing expensive trim. To see the pictures check out their website: www.omniconstruct.com (Blog shows recent projects).
