I contacted Ralph, the owner, and he came the next day. Showed up at promptly at the arranged time. The job was done very efficiently. He cleaned up perfectly afterwards. I would, and plan to, use his services again in the future.

On time, neat, personable. Good work with no issues. Would hire again.

I called him several times after the work was completed because the city of Raleigh needed to complete the electrical inspection on the installation. He told me he would get back to me but never did. The inspection was never completed.

He did everything reasonable and helped, literally, dig up the problem having first climbed under the house to diagnose the cause. Ralph was helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. I recommend him without reservation.

Ralph come out to my house shortly after I called him. He arrived on time and quickly resolved a problem we had been having for several weeks.

Ralph and Paul came within 24 hours of my call requesting their service and even gave me a time frame of one hour and they were here within that time. Very Prompt, efficient and totally resolved the electrical problem. Cleaned up the mess and you can bet I will use them in the future.

From start to finish, I was very pleased with the process. Ralph was very responsive to my inquiry on getting the job estimated. The job was done quickly and they did a great job cleaning up afterwards. They were missing a cover for the wall outlet at the time the job was being done, but they returned promptly to install it. I would definitely hire them again in the future for other electrical work.

Raplh returned our call promptly, even though we called on the 4th of July week, he willingly set a convenient appointment time. He arrived on time on the day we agreed. He called before coming so I could meet him at the house. Came in and quickly evaluated the lighting area provided by original builder, our new custom lights - He made appropriate placement adjustments, hung the 3 custom fixures after consultation over a centering issue due to the placement of a pipe during original construction, Also diagnosed and repaired a switch in the living room. After hanging the lights there was a place where the previous hole to place the original lights was showing - Ralph patched that area with speckling for later sanding and touchup painting. He Cleaned up after installation. I would recommend definitely this crew to anyone needing quick and reliable electrical service. I will call him again.

This was a great experience. Ralph tried to work me in earlier than our appointment, unfortunately I had a conflict, flooring was being installed. He showed up on time and got all 6 fixtures installed. This was a bit of a challenge since one ceiling fan was in a room with 19' ceilings and the pendent light was on the stairwell and had a 14' ceiling from the landing it was over. The island light also needed a support box installed (it was replacing a florescent ceiling light).
They came in and knocked them out fast. Great to work with.

Two of my Air Conditioning units were not working so I had called my HVAC contractor. They came out and said one of the issues was electrical and I'd have to call an electrician. I panicked a bit because I figured it would at least be another day, if not 2, before someone would come out. I quickly went to Angie's List, found Light It Up Electric with almost all As as grades and called them. Ralph answered and I could tell they were on the road. He asked what the problem was, where I lived, and said they'd be here in 15 minutes. I was flabbergasted! They arrived in 10 minutes, isolated the problem, fixed it, and even changed some light bulbs that were too high for me to get to! I couldn't have asked for better service and will definitely use them again.

Smooth process. Returned phone calls quickly. Provided competitive quote and stuck to it. Showed up on time and completed all tasks they promised. Would definitely do business with again.

Never having to call an electrician we did not have any recommendations. We were given one referral that we called and left two voice-messages, but he never returned our call. We picked up a "Light it Up Electric" business card when we were looking for flooring. We called "Light It Up Electric" and left a voice-message and Ralph called back within 15 minutes, came to the house, and gave us an estimate the same day. Both Ralph and Paul are very friendly and knowledgeable. What we liked most is that they do all their own work. They were very flexible in fitting us into their schedule. The job involved removing fluorescent lighting, getting up in the attic and getting into insulation, measuring, and cutting holes in the ceiling to install 5 can lights. Installation of one can light was a bit tricky, but with their perseverance, no additional holes needed to be cut. They work very well together. Ralph has over 30 years in the business and we felt very confident with the job that was done. After installation of the lights they patched the sheetrock and applied joint compound, which we weren't expecting but were pleased they did. They also cleaned up afterwards. Overall we are very pleased with the job they did and will definitely recommend "Light It Up Electric". Most importantly we will use them in the future PLUS recommend them to anyone who asks about electricians. We have also given positive feedback to the store where we picked up their business card.

Both gentlemen were very friendly and professional, found the problem, and replaced the switch quickly. I would definitely recommend them and call them again when electrical services are needed.

Ralph and Paul called ten minutes before they got to my house to tell me they were on the way. They arrived at the exact time that had been previously set up. They were friendly and professional. They installed two new light fixtures for me in an hour. They were courteous and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. They were very interested in providing me with the best service possible.

Had some electrical work that needed to be done on a house that is being sold.
Light it Up came out and they were easy to work with and took care of the issue as needed.

Despite it being a weekend and having a family funeral to attend, Ralph made it a point to get out to our home and fix our problem. His communication was great and the service was outstanding. I will never call another electrician - Ralph and his company now have long term customers.

Ralph Florio and Paul are great guys with a sense of humor. They have done work for us before and I have referred them to other clients. They do good work to the customer's specifications. They were back and forth over several days because of the inspections that had to be completed by the Town of Cary. There was a rough in electrical inspection and a final electrical inspection. We feel they do excellent work but more importantly the work met or exceeded current building codes. They also had to work in cooperation with the other contractors to complete the work in a timely manner. We feel more safe knowing that all the outside electrical work now is done to code. We will hire Ralph and Paul again when we need electrical work done on anywhere on our home. We highly recommend Light it Up Electric for any electrical work you need done.

We called a few days ago to ask for the installation of a ceiling fan. They came right on time, and had the work completed in a little over an hour. Did a wonderful job. We've finally found an honest, reliable electrician - thanks Angie's list

It went well. Ralph and Paul came a few days earlier and reviewed what was needed to be done; gave me a quote and set a date for the work. They arrived on time and got right to work. They were done is less time than I had expected. They cleaned up after their work. It was a pleasure working with them.

Ralph and Paul promptly answered the phone when I originally called, we set up an appointment for them to come to give an estimate, they arrived on time for the estimate, they gave us a good estimate, and we arranged a date for the work right on the spot. On the day of the job they called in advance to say they were on their way, and then arrived when they said they would. They moved the furniture that they needed to move for the job, covered the floors with cloths, and then set up their tools. While they worked they were nice to our pets and made sure they didn't go out when they went back and forth to their truck for supplies. They did everything we needed them to do, and asked questions as necessary while they worked. They cleaned up when they were done, and were pleasant to work with each time we've called them for a job.

I contacted Mr. Florio (based on references from Angie's List) and he promptly returned my call to assess the situation. He was able to come later that day and arrived at the designated time. He was professional and knowledgable about the problem and quickly took care of the problem. Since it was such a simple disconnection he charged me less than his normal asking price. I will definitely call him again for future repairs and needed. From our brief meeting he was reliable, genuine and happy to do whatever he could to help. I highly recommend his services.
