GOLE'S CASUAL FURNITURE

I bought two pieces of furniture from this company, giving them a check for 50% up front. That was on May 17, 2013. Mr. Ed Gole told me the furniture should arrive in approximately 4 weeks. I received one piece on September 7th, and finally it was determined by Mr. Gole that the other piece was discontinued and would never be delivered. I tried repeatedly to get the remainder of my deposit back. Mr. Gole kept stringing me along as far as a refund, first trying to sell me another piece that I did not want, then telling me his accountant was out of town, then his accountant forgot to send my check, then his accountant was out of town again. He was incredibly rude and used language that I cannot print here. He was so foul-mouthed and unpleasant. And the one piece of furniture I did receive (many weeks late) was scratched and of poorer quality than I was led to believe it would be. I finally received the refund check (dated October 22, 2013) in late October. I am so glad to be done with this very unpleasant and rude man, and the sub-standard level of quality and service (in terms of ordering and delivering furniture). Never, ever would I consider doing business with Gole's Furniture again.

We found the patio set we wanted within 15 minutes. We bought on the spot and Goles said they could deliver in an hour to ninety minutes and they did just that. We are highly pleased with their selection and the way we were treated and certainly their service.

Don't give them a down payment in advance. Don't special order. Don't do business with them unless you like being jerked around. Don't listen to anything they tell you. It is not true. Don't buy from them.
