Great experience. Tammie came out to discuss everything we needed done, made informed suggestions, and provided accurate quote and timeline. Whole process took less than 2 weeks. Tammie supervised work personally and all her subcontractors were professional, skilled, took great attention to detail, and were super nice.

Tammie and team came highly recommended from a neighbor. She was extremely helpful and engaged right from the start. All costs and contract terms were very clear and kept up to date as the project progressed. Tammie was on site daily with her team and they were all amazing. The whole process was smooth from start to finish. Will be working with Tammie on my next project!

When we finally decided it was time to replace our aging countertops and sink and to add the dishwasher the house never had, we reached out to a number of companies and contractors -- including the "Big Box" stores. After my wife's diligent search and our several Zoom meetings with possible contractors, we were absolutely thrilled to discover Design South, headed up by the dedicated, incredibly committed owner, Tammie Jones. Tammie came to our house, discussed our needs with us and then provided a line-item budget for all of the work that would need to be done. Along with being available to discuss issues with us as they arose -- moving cabinets and placing the dishwasher -- she also met us at the granite supplier's warehouse as we searched for the perfect pattern. Once work began, Tammie was on site for each of the three days that the renovation took, working closely with the on-site teams -- who are a regular trusted contractors working with her -- making sure that everything went as planned, handling whatever little wrinkles might come up -- there really weren't any. We can't say enough about how pleased we are with the result and how pleased we are too to have found a contractor who treated our project as if it were being done in her own home. We would happily hire her again and have already approached Design South about a second, small project. This is truly a five-star company.

Design South was top notch. So easy to work with. Tammie was on site daily to make sure everything went well and was very meticulous about the work being done. Communication was great from start to finish, informing me of any updates or decisions to be made. They stand by their work, making sure the customer is happy. Will definitely hire again when it's time to remodel our kitchen.

What a great experience! I found Design South after searching for a female contractor. We were remodeling a 1970’s that needed to be taken down to the studs and I was eager to avoid mansplaining. ? Their service and expertise were top notch. From design to completion, I was thoroughly impressed! I love love love my home. At least 4 of my neighbors enlisted their services after seeing what they did at our home. I highly recommend!

Tammie and Victor are AMAZING!!! We bought a 1985 townhome that they basically remodeled from top to bottom….and the final product was just BEAUTIFUL and exceeded all our expectations! They made the process seem seamless and kept the lines of communication open if issues arose. Tammy and her crew were amazing. They were punctual, skilled and very efficient. It was truly a pleasure working with Design South. The master bath of the townhome we had just purchased had to be totally redone. Tammie worked with us to settle on the layout, tile, light and plumbing fixtures. 15 days after demolition started, it was finished except for the glass panels and door to the shower. Pricing was fair and communication above and beyond.

Awesome! Work was done exactly when they said it would be. Excellent work! Costs were exactly what they projected. I plan on using them again for my master bath. I have never been more pleased with a company. They went above and beyond my expectations!!!!! LOVE THEM!

Absolutely AMAZING!! I cannot say enough about the team that tackled our kitchen! Tammie was so creative and easy to work with. She listened to my ideas and helped us figure out what was possible. Everything was done efficiently. My husband is tough to impress when it comes to construction work and he commented repeatedly that the teams’ craftsmanship and attention to detail was top notch. We are so pleased with our new kitchen. Everyone that visits us is in complete shock that this is the same house. I highly recommend Design South!!

We were ecstatic with the remodel of our kitchen and two bathrooms. Tammy also added a new bathroom. During the entire process, she and her staff were so professional and her ideas for the transformation were phenomenal! She started out as a contractor and now she feels like part of our family. She is the best!

On time. On budget. Our kitchen renovation included quartzite countertops selected with a personal trip to vendors with the contractor. Workers came as scheduled for demo and replacement of countertops, backsplash, and sink installation. Kind and considerate subcontractors. Most pleasant and satisfactory experience I’ve had, and this was not our first rodeo given our moves across three states.
