When our family got back home from being away for Thanksgiving last year, we had a puddle in our kitchen. It urns out a contractor punctured one of our water lines when they hung a cabinet and it took years to rust enough to start leaking. Our homeowners insurance covered the repair (after our deductible, of course;-)), but with them replacing our kitchen floor, we decided this was f=probably the best opportunity to do some renovating on the cheap.
A good friend and I built a kitchen island, my wife and I sanded, primed and painted our kitchen cabinets and we have refinished our counter tops to coordinate with the island. Well, everything went okay, but we felt that one final professional coat of paint on the cabinets was worthwhile so after having Sloan Electric Services in to wire up for pendants I hung and for a track light set I put up, we also needed the ceiling to be fixed and painted both in the kitchen and in our living room from a bathroom issue upstairs.. Now we were up to two projects we wanted help with and so we hired David and his crew of professional tradesmen.
When David came in and we looked at what needed to be done, he showed me that the living room ceiling had more issues than I thought as well so that was added to the list.
David and his team were very professional, paid attention to details and provided excellent workmanship. They definitely did not fit into the mold of typical contractors as to scheduling, workers' demeanor.

I had a "painter" attempt to paint an accent wall where my flat screen tv and fireplace are. Long story short it was a disaster! Sometimes you get what you pay for. I kicked him out of my house and promptly started looking for someone to fix his mess. Dave came to my house and after a short chuckle explained how to properly paint the color red. He also explained to me in depth what he was going to do to correct the paint spills on the mantle and chipping paint on the slate fireplace. After noticing that he was a professional I asked him to paint several other walls a completely different color. I was relieved to see that his men moved the furniture and didn't spill any paint like the previous so called "painter" did. The quality of work his men produce go further than just a coat of paint. When I walk into my house now I feel like its brand new. I will be calling dave back in a few months to continue this project to the upstairs of my home. I highly recommend Dave and his employee's.

Hired David Hare Interiors to paint and repair interior. Should have known better when the estimate was over $1,000 more than other bids. He did come down to meet the other bids. He provided poor quality paint that spots and rubs off. The repairs are falling off the walls. Had new vinyl textured floor installed the week before his arrival. The crew tracked the dust from sanding into the texture on the floor. Floor manufacturer had to be contacted to decide cleaning process. They came back to clean, but were using brushes which is NOT to be used on this floor. Told crew to leave so that I could finish the floor on my hands and knees to save the scratches from the brushes. Very expensive mistake on hiring them.
