We are customers for life. Greg is a kind, funny, honest man who helped us pick out the right grade of carpet for our home and then quoted us a price significantly less than the big box home improvement stores. We had to reschedule the installation several times due to various circumstances, and he accommodated our needs each and every time without complaint. Danny and Nicco were wonderful to have in our home. They are artists. Really. They did a great job on the installation, clean up, furniture moving (and replacement) and answering any questions we had. We could not be more pleased with our experience from top to bottom and from quote to installation to clean up.

Showed up on Monday as scheduled, even after a weekend hurricane. Work crew was great, worked hard and cleaned up everything when they were finished. $800 less than other estimates for top quality carpet and padding. We could not be happier. Dalton Carpet was the right choice for us.

I used Dalton carpet 8 years ago and was satisfied. I needed to replace master, hall and stairs before I listed home to sell. Greg promptly returned my call and scheduled appointment. He showed up, knew the type and color of the carpet I was matching. Measured, and I had the new carpet installed 6 days later. I had a very squeaky floor and stairs.  They took care of that also. Great service.

Excellent all round. I hunted around and went all over to get several estimates. Thoroughly researched many different types of carpet and I took well over a year putting all this together as I was embarking on renovating my whole house in one clean sweep after tenants had moved out and I was moving back into the house for many years to come. I needed to be on a very stick budget for all the different projects and really get a great price but I also only wanted top rated service providers that were in Angie's list. I looked at estimates from all the top carpet providers I the area and had narrowed it down to 2 places who were highly rated and gave great price. Then another contractor told me about Greg and he beat the other 2 by a clear $1000 and also provided a higher quality product in doing so. Could not speak any higher of his service and prices and product all combined!

Greg Ward bid on the project. He knew his business. He gave us the quote -- lower than the other two providers we contacted --told us how long the job would take, and tried to answer our many questions (we had a lot). There was a lot of back-and-forth over the color and texture of the new carpet. Greg was patient, and sent us a number of samples. We finally found something we really liked.
We set a date, but had to push it back one day because of rain. The crew arrived on time and completed the job in eight and half hours. They did a skillful job installing our new carpet, which we like very much.

He was wonderful, kind and very knowable of carpet's! He also knew that our upstairs wasn't going to be high traffic area and saved us a lot of money with GREAT stain free carpet (well as best as we can with two cats and a toddler)!!!! It was just amazing that he also had samples for us to stand on so we could feel it before they would put it in! He even called me to update me on the dates to make sure the best time...not only that called me to let me know that they could get it in faster. (I was in a hurry). When they came to put the Carpet in it was amazing how much they knew what they were doing, and how fast they did it! Not only that it looks great and they were kind enough to open the windows for us! Thanks so much for everything you have done for us, and so sorry it took so long to get this up here. Greg with Dalton Carpet is great.  This is the second carpet installation job we have hired his crew to do and they are dependable and courteous.  Greg brought out samples and spent time to allow me to consider all options.  He offered friendly advice and provided us with an unbeatable price.  We did get other estimates each time and we always have found Dalton Carpet to have the lowest price with the most personable customer service.  We highly recommend them and will use them again if needed.

Sent email to Dalton Carpet and was contacted by Greg almost immediately. Scheduled carpet repair for Thursday 18 September. The guys ( Osvaldo and friend) were here before scheduled time. We discussed the issue and he came up with a solution. They did a wonderful job and left the "construction site" neat as a pin. The repair looks wonderful and we are very pleased with the work. 
I now have Dalton Carpet on speed dial.

Greg is very pleasant and easy to deal with.  I actually chose one carpet and changed my mind and called him back.  He wasn't the least bit upset.  The installers showed up on time, worked diligently, and completed the job on time.  And I love the carpet. I liked them so much I've arranged for them to install carpet on the older house that I'm selling.

This is the third time and second house we've had Greg and his crew provide carpeting services for us.  Greg came to our house on our timeframe (5:30) and provided a variety of samples in a variety of price ranges.  His prices are great, and the installation crew was prompt, professional, and clean.  A+ all around!  We'll also be using Dalton Carpets when we replace our vinyl in the kitchen soon.

Greg came out with a van full of samples.  He measured the space and gave me a very affordable quote for some very affordable carpet.  Then I asked him, how much for the good carpet?  His prices for SmartStrand installation beat everyone else I asked, so I went with Dalton Carpet.  I told Greg on a Monday night that I was ready to proceed, and gave him half the estimated cost as a deposit.  The carpet was installed that weekend, starting Saturday morning and finishing by lunchtime Sunday.  Everything went smoothly.

We had water damage in our home that affected drywall and carpet in two rooms. We chose not to file an insurance claim for the damage. Restoration companies quoted between $1700 and $5000 just to dry out our home with subsequent repair work at additional cost. Greg at Dalton Carpet was great to work with. He coached me by phone on how to dry out the carpets, pads, and subfloor. He called me to follow up on how it was going and then sent someone out to do the pad and carpet repairs at a very reasonable cost. With Greg's help, we were able to complete the whole restoration project for around $1000 and still get a great result.

We have used Dalton Carpets 10 years ago.  Had and great experience then... and now... Greg brings the carpet samples to the home for selection of style/ quality / and color.  We gave a deposit for the carpet order, and Greg scheduled the installation date.  The installers arrived on time.  They were pleasant and professional... and neat!  Job was scheduled for 2 days... and took 2 days.... We are very pleased with all!

Greg Ward responded to my inquiry promptly and scheduled the carpet stretching around my schedule. He also gave me advice on carpet cleaning and information on the different methods used by professionals. On the day of the scheduled service two men arrived and stretched the carpets in three bedrooms and a hallway. Our carpets are about seven years old and not high quality. When they finished after about an hour and a half, the carpet was no longer buckling and rippled which made a big difference in the appearance. Greg recommended that the carpet stretching be done before the cleaning and I'm sure the stretching will make all the difference in how the carpets look after the cleaning. Owner came out to give me an estimate by the time he left he had saved me over $1000 dollars based on what I thought I wanted versus what would be just as appealing and much cheaper to actually have installed.  We had some old stone tile at our front and back door that did not match our laminate flooring in the rest of the living area.  We had some leftover in the garage and it turned out it was enough to replace the stone and make the entire area laminate.  This saved us money on materials and labor!  
Then the vinyl flooring we chose was good, but the upgraded material he suggested was much thicker and higher quality for a very small difference in overall cost.
Very happy with the install team (highly professional and neat) and they were a lot of help with moving furniture that needed to be out of the way for the install.
Only issue I had was when my new refrigerator was installed in snagged the new floor a little and made a small tear.  I contacted the owner and told him about it, but we never got back in touch to have the flooring repaired in that spot.  I would like that to happen some day, but that did not reflect much on my review.

We needed carpet restretched in our master bedroom.  Greg's installer missed the appointment but Greg quickly rescheduled for the same day and went out of his way to make it right.  That is the type of person I want to do business with.  He acknowledged the mistake, and immediately fixed it.  We will use these guys again.

Dalton Carpet was amazing. I was beginning to get very discouraged as I had tried to call/email 4 other carpet install/repair companies and a week went by and no one got back to me. I called Dalton Carpet and left him a very detailed message with the carpet brand & color and the work I needed done. Greg called me back within 2 hours to let me know that he received my message and was working on getting details on the carpet name/color as sometimes they use different carpet names or make them a private collection for builders- or something along those lines. He said he would probably have that information for me the next day. Sure enough, he called back the next day with a estimated price, which I felt was reasonable although I did not shop around because he was the only one that called me back! ;) 
We were able to schedule the work to be done within a week of us agreeing that the price was ok and we wanted to have it done. Dalton Carpet crew called when they were on their way to our house from another job they were doing. They could not find our house but that was to be expected as it is a new subdivision and many GPS units do not recognize the address. I gave Danny (the installer) directions over the phone and they were able to find it. They showed up and got straight to work and finished the job within 2 hours. They were very neat and clean and were sure to sweep up all the little carpet sheds. I was very happy with the response time from Greg and the job that Danny and his crew did.

We had purchased an investment property that we were trying to get fixed up ASAP so we could put it up for rent.  Initially we had gone to both Lowes and Home Depot and tried scheduling to have one of their carpeting providers to come out and give us an estimate.  After waiting for a week just for a callback we canceled and turned to Angie's list and found Greg's name.  We gave him a call got Greg immediately.  We told him we were in a hurry and he made time to come out and give us an estimate the next day.  Greg was on time and very professional.  He brought samples and helped us decide a carpet that was appropriate for a rental property that was both durable yet inexpensive.
Four days later he was out and installed the carpet.  Greg did an outstanding job.  He cleaned up the old carpet and was very careful of the freshly painted walls - absolutely no scuff marks anywhere.Carpet looks fantastic - no seams or uneveness or gaps anywhere.  No random threads sticking up.  I've had bad experiences in the past with carpet installs so I knew what to look for.
Greg was super polite, very responsive, and very helpful in the decision making process.
I would totally recommend Greg to anyone looking for carpet - WAY better than going through Lowes/Home Depot for sure!!!I know with our next investment property we will be using Greg again.

Working with the folks at Dalton was wonderful!  The salesman was kind, knowledgeable, and never pushy, and the installers were very punctual, detail oriented, and friendly.  The carpet looks and feels great, and was a great value! Highly recommend this company!

It went well.  It was very good customer service.  They were very clean.  They showed up on time and did what they said they would do.

We renovated one of our office condos and Greg came out to give an estimate. He was on time and gave us good advice on our options. His installers, a father and son team, came to do the work and were on time, polite and professional. They're a pleasure to work with. I received another estimate that was slightly less expensive, but I think Greg and his team are great to work with.
