Atlantic Mulch

First, Amber and the other order staff, awesome. Amber not satisfied with just ok drop of stone asked for a picture of my steep driveway, 14% grade. Second she sends the load with one of the best drivers, Mr. Humphrey’s. Third, I asked Mr. Humphrey’s if he could dump the No. 57 stone at the top of my driveway in front of my garage, next to my stacked timbers, but not in my garage and not in front of Mrs. Scott’s garage. Mr. Humphrey’s says, “If you have a dime, place it where you want the gravel and I’ll return a nickel. In front of my garage is a foot of distance. Not one stone in my garage and the entire 3 tons piled within 6” of garage door! I had to get a picture of this marksman, Mr. Humphrey’s and you see it here. And then Mr. Humphrey’s surveys my landscape project and gives me some priceless tips on how to proceed.

Great service. On time and at reasonable cost.

Visited their facility and looked at mulch. They weren't pushy. They didn't push us to have it installed by their crew and blower truck (more money for them) - we asked and liked the price, so opted for letting them do the work.
They said that they were very busy and we would have to wait 5-6 weeks, which was OK. As installation time got closer, we had a long spell of rainy weather, so we called about a week ahead of time to make sure the installation date was still good. They said that they had every intention of doing it the scheduled day, but they asked us to call again the day before installation, which we did.
On the installation day, they were delayed by an earlier job, but they called us early in the day and let us know when they expected to get to us.
They came late in the day and blew in the mulch for us. The installation team was very professional and did an excellent job. They continuously monitored the depth of the mulch they were blowing in to make sure we were getting the 3and quot; depth that we paid for. Two people blew in the mulch and a third followed with a backpack blower, moving all of the mulch that ended up in the grass back into the landscaped area. They even cleaned off our driveway and front curb, including areas where they didn't install mulch nearby.
We were very pleased with the job from start to finish. They scheduled the job, kept to the schedule and did an outstanding job of blowing in the mulch. We plan on using them for any more mulch that we may need.

This was our first time placing mulch in our yard before. We called Atlantic Mulch and spoke with Andrew. We couldn't have been luckier. It was a busy Saturday morning (phones were ringing and people were discussing items in the back ground) but based on the service he provided - we thought that we were the only ones that mattered in the world. And boy that's what we needed. We needed serious HELP.

We had NO clue what mulch worked best for our yard, Andrew proceeded to hear our dilemma and explained how we could and quot;estimateand quot; the cubic yard of mulch required for our yard. Seriously- who knows how to calculate this? Andrew did and he was spot on! He told us the minimum requirement and thought we should start with that and then add more mulch later after we had a specific measurement.

Then he wanted to help with our understanding of mulch and the service it could provide to our landscape. This was trumpets playing, the heavens opening up, and angels descending to aid us with our landscape woes. Andrew suggested a particular mulch after going through the various kinds and different pros/cons. We couldn't have agreed more. The price (based on the estimate) was reasonable and actually considerable cheaper than what we had anticipated.

The mulch was delivered on a Thursday as we wanted it rather soon (its rare that we had free weekend and the weather forecast seemed to allow for a days worth of work).

After many wheelbarrow trips around our yard, can we just say how spectacular it all is. And we contribute 90% of it to Andrew and Atlantic Mulch - then other 10% is for my husband and I who shoveled the mulch to the desired locations :)

I would recommend them to anyone looking for excellent service!

I both emailed and called to ask questions and schedule service. Answers to my questions were prompt and thorough. I scheduled service two weeks in advance via email. The crew was punctual, neat, fast, and friendly. It took less than an hour from beginning to end. They cleaned up after themselves and were very neat with the process.

They were recommended by Woodplay of the Carolinas. Woodplay said they had the best playground mulch in the area and they will also spray it in your yard.
