They seemed to be reasonably priced and they only did the necessary repairs. They were great all around and I would definitely consider hiring them in the future.

It was excellent. They came out exactly when they said they would and they fixed it the same day. The service was excellent. They were very friendly and honest. They gave me an estimate before they did the work and they cleaned up completely when the job was done.

Dale came out and looked at the job and explained what he planned to do and told us approximately when he would be back to do the job. He called the day before and came promptly in the morning. The job was completed that morning. He was very courteous and sincere.

I was very pleased with the craftmanship of the repair and there haven't been any problems since getting this repair at the beginning of '08. I only have one minor complaint. I spoke with the owner on the phone during the holidays and he had some personal time off and some other jobs to do. He told me he would get back to me in a few days to give me an exact day for repair. More than several days went by so I had to initiate the call to find out when he could come by. During this time we were having wet weather so I was more concerned about getting the repair done quickly. Other than this I was very happy with the service and would recommend Ark to anyone.

They came out promptly the next day, examined and diagnosed the problem and fixed the leak right then and there. The price was good as well. Very nice man who obviously knows what he is doing.

After a heavy rainfall, we discovered 6-7 leaks in our roof. Dale arrived on time, and checked our entire roof. He discovered that the original installer never filled the nail holes to the boards they used to brace themselves while installing the roof. He estimated that it would cost $150. He worked swiftly with a partner and filled all the holes on the entire roof. He was at our home for almost 2 hours with his partner doing dangerous work, yet only charged us $150 to stay on the estimate.

My roof had been leaking for a while I had called another company and they were unable to fix it. Ark roofing cam and fixed the problem quickly and professionally. He replaced roof shingles and the vent boot, he said it didn't look right to him. There was no extra charge for this.

After speaking with several roofing repair contractors who were only interested in replacing the entire roof, ARK Roofing properly diagnosed the source of our leak and what it would take to repair it. He told us when he would be able to come out and what it would cost and he did not deviate from what he promised. He was on site when he said he would be. He was also very neat and professional in both appearance, his work and how he treated us.

We had a wet spot on our master bedroom ceiling that kept getting worse with each heavy rain. I e-mailed Dale on a Monday afternoon and he called me back that night and was able to schedule a visit to come check out the roof for that Thursday. He arrived when he said he would, and let me know that all three of our plumbing vents needed to be replaced. He did the work immediately and it only took about 30 minutes from start to finish. He was very friendly, professional and courteous, and I would absolutely use this company again.

I called and left a message. Mr. Clement returned my call that evening. Since the job was so small, Mr. Clement offered to estimate and fix the repair in the same trip. They showed up as scheduled and completed the repairs. They were friendly and professional. I would definitely hire Ark Roofing again.

Great. I was really happy with his flexibility. This was a rental property and he was happy just to send me an invoice, rather than demand payment at the time the work was completed.

Overall, everything went smoothly. I called and left a message, they called back that evening and were very courteous and professional. Within a couple days, they called with a quote. After verifying their insurance, we told them to go ahead with the job. I think they completed the work the same day, or the day after, and called to let us know the job was done. In the future, if we have minor roof repairs, we'll be calling Ark Roofing. Many roofing companies don't want to be bothered with small jobs, so I'm glad I found them here on Angie's List! (They may do roof replacements too - I didn't ask because ours isn't quite ready to be replaced.) I had called another guy I found in the phone book, and he was going to charge me $225. So I think Ark Roofing does a good job for a fair price.

Bought a home and noticed that there might be a small leak; however, due to the drought in the area we could not confirm it. A month after the purchase we got a 1 inch rainfall and it proved to be an active leak. Contacted Ark based on the reviews and found him to live up to the reviews. Very honest and overall a great guy. He found the problem and made the repairs.

Well. We had a contractor come out before to look at the problem, but that person was hard to contact and never diagnosed the problem. In contrast, Dale came out to look at the problem the day after I called him. He was honest about what he could do, and his estimate was what the job cost. He was professional, quick, and easy to contact.

The man from Ark Roofing came out right away the day I called. He looked at my roof and told me it would cost about $200 to replace some of the underlayment and shingles where I had a leak. He repaired it right away and the charge was $200. He was very nice, professional and efficient. I would refer any of my friends to him.

I spoke with Dale the previous week about coming out, but couldn't schedule the work, because I didn't have my calendar in front of me. Dale requested I send him an email, which I promptly forgot to do. I left Dale a message that weekend, asking him to come out at his earliest convenience to take a look at the work, and he was at my home at 10:00 AM, on Monday morning. I showed Dale where the leak was (inside the house) and he diagnosed it in about 25 seconds. The boot around one of the venting pipes, needed to be replaced. About 10 minutes after the diagnosis, the repair was completed.

I called Dale during the day and he returned my call that evening. He came to make an estimate within a few days at no charge. His rate was significantly lower than any other estimate and I felt that his examination of the roof seemed more thorough. He was able to do the work the day after I called to schedule it. Dale and his assistant arrived on time that morning and promptly went to work. They worked quickly and cleaned up completely afterwards.

Showed up on time with a great personality put me at ease from the start. Explained how he was going to proceed and approx cost. Once on the roof the job was completed. It's great to find someone who shows up and does what he says and makes you feel at ease.

We noticed water spots on the ceiling and my husband determined the seals on the stacks needed replacement. We called Baker roofing initially and they came out for an estimate, said they would email it to me. We never heard from them even after we contacted them twice asking for the estimate. I then called Ark Roofing and talked to Dale. He explained it would be at least three weeks until he could come by. I decided to wait and sure enough three weeks later he called and said he was in the area and would stop by. He checked the seals and found they needed replacement and did the work at the same time. The repair completed in a half hour and I was charged a reasonable price. I'm sure glad I waited for the honest gentleman who kept his promise and didn't overcharge me. I would recommend him to anyone.

We have worked with Dale since we moved to NC eight years ago. He is a great person, and does great work. He shows up when he says he will and his prices are reasonable.
