Totally professional in every way - unfortunately the person we dealt with no longer works there (Marianne), however I would still use this company.

We remodeled our 20+ year old kitchen.  We chose Apex Cabinet Co. because they are a local company and the cabinets we chose were made nearby in Kinston, NC.  The sales rep we dealt with was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful.  Installation was timely and professional.  We had no issues during the entire process.  We are very pleased with Apex Cabinet Co. and would recommend them.

Apex Cabinet did an excellent job of replacing our old cabinets. The quality is excellent and the installer was well skilled and professional.

Billy Powell walked us through the planning and purchase. We changed our minds about the kitchen design and lay-out 3 times and Billy patiently measured and worked with us on the design through every change. There were even times when we had decided to proceed, thinking that we had given the project every consideration, but Billy carefully added changes or options that improved the plans and sometimes kept us from making mistakes. He took much care in making sure we were going to be satisfied with the project.

Brad came back after the installation to expertly fine tune some things and show us how the mechanics of the doors and drawers work.

We have a beautiful new kitchen and we would certainly choose Apex Cabinet again. Thank you Billy!

New Decora cabinets were installed in my kitchen. Billy was my point of contact and he was very helpful. He visited my home, listened to my ideas and offered good suggestions for the design. He let me keep a door sample for as long as I needed to help with selecting wood flooring, which we also installed in the kitchen.
The cabinet installers were pleasant and professional. Billy followed up after the project was complete and came back to my house to see the outcome first-hand. A few minor issues arose and Billy handled them immediately.

Design was great. Incorporated all our desired features within our budget.
Installation was OK. New installer in training accidentally drilled into a water pipe behind wall, but it was repaired immediately and within code. Had a few issues that had to be remediated. Those were taken care of promptly and to my satisfaction.
Quality of cabinets was below expectations. Several of the doors ordered came in wrong size and had to be re-ordered. Mitered joints were not clean/smooth. After 2-3x of re-ordering doors I opted to receive a credit in order to complete the transaction.
Overall, I would recommend Apex Cabinets and would use them again. Don't know if I would say the same for Aristokraft. You may have better luck with a higher-end cabinet.

Everything went very well with Apex cabinets. Oout designer was Billy and he knew his business well. The last time we remodeled a kitch (7-8 years ago) we used a customer cabinet builder and really it did not turn out that well. We had issues with the over quality and especially with an inconsistent and poor quality finish.
At Apex we ordered Decora cabinets that are hands down better than the custom ones and more durable. The design services from Billy was outstanding- he came by many times to ensure everything was sized and measured properly.
The installation was flawless and if you had any issues at all they would instantly correct them no matter how minor.
Overall this was a very smooth process from beginning to end.

We needed a countertop built for our kitchen remodeling job. Apex Cabinet took measurements, helped us select the laminate that we wanted, fabricated it to the exact size we needed, and installed it expertly. We love it.

They were excellent and the price was excellent.

We are actually installing ourselves. We have a couple of family members who have experience and have taken time off this weekend to do it. Apex just delivered the cabinets today and they are sitting in our garage. Initially we were going to have them install the cabinets. The price was $15000.0 for the whole job and I think it was $1000.00 for the installation. So the price came down by $1000.00 as we are going to install ourselves. Our experience with the company overall was very good. They were pretty responsive to our questions and kept in touch with email all about the process, time lines, and things like that. They were better than the big box stores. We were pleased. Their price was fair. We would use them again in the future.

Installers arrived prompty and did a nice job of fitting to existing cabinets and wall. Removal of existing countertop is required prior to installation..

They didn't like what I had picked-out and therefore didn't put it in as I had expected. It's alright, I'll have to go back and fix some things and would probably use a different provider in the future.

The island project involved removing a gas stove top and disconnecting electrical outlets and a dishwasher before moving the cabinet, then producing a new countertop to fit. To install the end cabinet, a baseboard hadto be cut and an outlet re-positioned. Apex Cabinet made sure all cabinets and countertops matched existing colors and materials, ordered and supplied necessary pieces, coordinated all professionals and finished the job neatly. It is exactly what I envisioned. I was also impressed with how prompt they were and with the emails that kept me informed of orders, payment receipt and schedule.

THIS COMPANY DID A GREAT JOB. THEY DELIVERED THE FINISHED PRODUCT IN GOOD TIME. IF WE HAD ANY PROBLEMS, THEY WERE THERE RIGHT AWAY TO TAKE CARE OF IT. I ENJOYED WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY.
