Inspection was performed and all went well. There were some minor comments on the report that weren't followed up on. I would recommend and will continue to use their services.

Dishonest & Irresponsible Hired AWT while purchasing our home in Clayton, NC, Julie Davidson wrote us a report stating the well she tested was in perfect working order. Fast forward a couple years, we have no water in our home. Come to find out the well she "tested" had been out of commission and didn't even have power for years prior to her examination. Have spoken with several people in this office, they do not care, they will not even provide their insurance carrier information so that we can follow up appropriately. Our family would never have bought (nor been approved) to buy this home without a known, tested and functioning well. Their dishonest report and lack of interest in providing even the most basic assistance has left our family without water for over a month while we try to work with the county to resolve this issue. Hire someone else.

Slone came to home I was in contract as a sale had a pool put in and the crane crushed 30 ft of septic line excellent to work with. The way I found out was the buyer had a camera inspection done and would not go through.

I got to know about them through word of mouth. I didn't like anything about their services. They could not find our septic systems, they brought the wrong drawings of where our septic system was. They pretended to dig around to find our septic system, and they couldn't find one. The day they came back, they found an old one, then they couldn't do an inspection, and then they charged us the full price, although no inspection happened.

Easy scheduling via online and phone. They were very responsive and informative.
The guys that came out to inspect the septic were thorough and were actually able to locate the hard-to-find septic tank (unlike a prior and quot;regularand quot; septic inspector), and analyze whether the tank was leaking, how much, and whether replacement was needed.
Would definitely recommend them for a difficult septic situation.

From the first contact I had with Sloan Griffin of AWT, I knew that the referral I had from our Home Inspector was an excellent one..Time was short in that closing was only about a week away. Sloan juggled his schedule to allow him to visit the property that day. During each contact I had with him, Sloan was always very professional and took the time to explain everything until we understood exactly what he was talking about. His communications were timely and frequent and included phone calls, emails and text messages when necessary. His inspection and report confirmed that a far less expensive repair (several hundred dollars) was needed than what the buyers inspector had determined. When I asked if Sloan could meet me with the buyers and the sellers at the site so that he could explain his findings to the buyers, Sloan again made arrangements to meet us that day..despite having to sandwich us in between 2 other meetings he had that afternoon. As a result, he was able to provide the buyer with the comfort he needed and AWT agreed to perform the less expensive repair which was completed by AWT 2 days before closing.
What an asset AWT has in Sloan Griffin! He understood the importance of getting the situation resolved as quickly as possible and went out of his way to make it happen whether it required juggling his schedule to meet at the site, or working late to provide the reports and photos we needed.
Very, very, pleased with the service provided by AWT and Sloan Griffin!

When it appeared that my 30 year-old septic system drain field was starting to fail (wet, smelly area near the edge of my lawn that wouldn't dry up), I called AWT to investigate and prepare a summary of options. AWT had done the septic system inspection when we bought the property a couple years ago. I was expecting to have to bite the bullet on a new advanced septic treatment system, since the soils in my area are very poor and no new conventional systems are allowed by the county. AWT came out and suggested that the issue might be my distribution box, resulting in only one of the three drain field lines receiving the septic effluent. Sure enough, on investigation, the distribution box was found to have failed. They replaced it and so far so good, the wet area is starting to dry up. I was prepared to spend about $15k to $20k to fix the problem - instead it looks like a simple fix at less than a tenth the expected cost will do the trick! I'm very pleased with the professional service and fast response by AWT.

AWT sent a rep out to analyze the pump issue with 2 hrs of contacting them. He was very thorough and determined the problem.
They ordered the replacement pump and installed it 2 days later.
Installation was done very well with a minor issue that was fixed quickly the next day after I contacted them.
Overall I was very pleased with their service.
