We didn't spend anything because they did a complementary consultation on our mini-van. They diagnosed the problem and we decided not to fix it. They were absolutely fabulous and they diagnosed the problem at no charge. They were wonderful. We didn't actually get the work done. We had some problem with the engine. They were honest. They didn't try and charge us for work that wasn't going to be worth doing. They knew what they were talking about. They could show us exactly what they were talking about in the way that even I understood. Their responsiveness was great. We would definitely use their services in the future too.

It went quite well. Cost and performance seem to be quite reasonable based upon type of service.

The engine runs great now, but in the process they broke my windshield. It is a very noticeable, straight crack that runs from the bottom of the windshield to the rear-view mirror. I had to get into the car while we were waiting for the engine to be delivered and I did not notice the crack at that time. However, it's a very obvious crack and I did notice it immediately when I got in the car today. First they said the tow truck driver must've broken it. I've never had a car towed and ended up with a broken windshield. (I did, however, years ago, have a broken windshield after engine work.) Then they told me it must've had a crack in it already and "the sun baking down on it" must have broken it. Never noticed a crack before and it's the 28th of Dec. The high temp has been in the mid 70's. It's astounding how quickly the ready-made excuses started coming. The more likely scenario is that it got broken either when they removed the old engine or installed the new one. But they'll never admit it.
