Ray's Plumbing is awesome! We have worked with them for years, and every single time they have been professional, friendly, courteous, punctual and knowledgable. We've had them here for everything you can imagine - a simple clogged sink to a major renovation, sewer line repairs and moving existing plumbing. I can't believe how quickly they work, and they always have the parts they need available. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs any plumbing services.

Repair was done well

When the guy came out he said it was going to cost $450 and no more than $500 because this was after hour rates. The next day he came out to reinstall the faucet and the drain and the charge this time was even more. When I got the bill I found that they charged me 615.00. I was over charged $150.00. When I talked to the woman on the phone she said he had no business quoting prices like that. She would not work with me on the price. I went ahead and paid the bill but I feel like they took advantage of the pricing with me. I would not use them again.

I am a contractor myself and was looking for someone who knew how to install this high end valve. I asked them up front if they know how to install it and they said they did. The son and daughter now run the business. When he came out it was obvious he did not know what he was doing. He was here for 6 hours looking at manuels and was laughing and joking over the phone. After 6 hours I told him to leave and the valve was still not installed properly. I talked to two other plumbers who told me it should have only taken 2 hours to install this. I am not happy. I had known Ray the father for over 15 years but he no longer runs it. I am disappointed with the quality of this company now. Additional notes: I had to cut my whole water heater down to 105 degrees because the valve was not installed correctly. There is no control of hot or cold. This has affected my water bill and electric bill in going up as a result. The whole shower needs to be gutted and redone which is cost me about $7,000.00. They even took me to court and won. The judge awarded half the amount that they charged me initially and I still have either hot or cold water. There is no in between. The judge happened to live less than a half a mile away from the owner of the company.

The two gentlemen that came knew exactly where the release button was on the garbage disposal. They charged me a $85.00 service call and $3.00 gas charge even though they were going to be in the area. They charged me $2.50 a pair for the paper slippers. I didn't know of the charges until I received an itemize bill.
