We had a shocking, exasperating, and sad experience last night which resulted in the horrible death of our beloved 10 year old female cat. We brought her to PAH first thing Friday morning because she had labored breating and seemed confused. The reception staff and technicians were very helpful and accommodating and they took her right in. Dr. Whitehead was very informative and profressional, and determined that our kittie needed to be put in an oxygen unit. X-rays showed that there was fluid on the lungs and around the heart. She was put on a diuretic and medication to improve her cardiac output. Dr. Whitehead explained that because the facility is closed for the weekend, we would need to take her to the emergency clinic on 15-501 to remain on oxygen and medication for the weekend unless her condition improved during the day. I spoke with Dr. Watson at 4pm and he told me that she only improved a little and would need to go the emergency clinic for the weekend and remain on oxygen. Dr. Watson said they had informed the emergency clinic about the sitiution and they would be prepared to take over the care, especially because Dr. Whitehead was to be working there over the weekend. When we picked her up at 5:15, I expressed concern about her condition in transit, but Dr Watson said she would be "fine" for the 15 minute drive to the clinic. About half way there, she started gasping for air and crying out. Amazingly, the clinic was CLOSED apon our arrival and the person who answered the door said there was nothing she could do as no Vets or technicians were there. We waited another 15 minutes for the clinic to open, while helplessly watching our poor kittie gasping for air and spitting up blood in complete discomfort. She expried as we walked in the door. More devastating, was that they didn't even have an oxygen unit set up, and were completely unaware that we were coming, Dr. Watson lied strait-faced to us about the readiness of the emergency clinic. He knew that the emergeny clinic would be closed until 6pm, and he could have kept our kittie on oxygen a little fonger before discharging her. 15 minutes would have made all the difference, but instead she suffered a horrible death that she certainly didn't deserve!!! Dr. Watson is a person who cannot be trusted. He exhibited a complete disregard for the well-being of a poor helpless animal in his care. Blatant deception and MALPRACTICE.

Excellent! Each cat saw a different get, but both were very knowledgable, pleasant, and reasonably priced....one cat is special needs requiring diabetic insulin, and he had a blood test to determine effectiveness of insulin amounts.

The prices depend on what you need. My first impression was it's very clean, staff is extremely friendly, the doctors seemed very knowledgeable, and they are really good with animals but when I brought one of our new dogs, it really went down the floor and had to put it on the table.

The veterinarian was very gentle and nice with my cat. My cat is a very nervous cat and the vet was very calm. He let me hold my cat for a lot of the time instead of a vet-tech. She gave my cat treats when they were done and did a lot of things that helped put my cat at ease. By the end of the vet trip my cat was actually purring, which is not normal for a cat and a vet. This veterinarian was recommended by a friend. I also work late hours, about an hour away from where I live, so I was looking for a vet clinic that was going to be open in the evening. They were able to give me a 5:30 p.m. appointment. They did not feel overpriced or feel like a budget facility where you were sacrificing quality for cost. They were very thorough and I had a lot of questions; they dealt with all of them.

Took my dog to Pinetree on the recommendation of a friend, and it was a great choice! The staff at the front desk was helpful, and the waiting area was large and comfortable. The animal techs were very friendly and really worked on putting my dog at ease (he's a terrier, he gets excitable). Dr. Watson is definitely an animal lover! He spent time just getting to know my dog before he started the exam. He answered all my questions and listened to my issues and explained everything he was doing. The time and attention the doctor and the technicians show their patients is top notch.
