It is rare for me to give an A+ rating to anyone. However, this business has earned this rating from me hands down! I was referred to them through Duke Energy as I wanted to participate in the energy rebate program if possible while shopping for a new HVAC. I had quotes from 4 different companies and they beat every one by a decent margin. This is to include when looking at quotes for the exact same brand and model equipment. So, as for value I felt they were my best bet. Boy did they deliver! Their customer service and professionalism has been amassing from everyone, techs, office staff, and the owner himself who came out to do my quote and explain my options. They have gone above and beyond in order to make sure that everything was done correctly and to my satisfaction. They have returned to make sure the unit is working properly and called to make sure that I am comfortable. This has been entirely unsolicited by me. I am pretty easy to please and was happy with the work and experience from the get go, however, the extra care and service they have provided to make sure that their work was not just good but exceptional has more than earned this positive review. I look forward to working with them further as I plan on getting the yearly cleaning and checkup that is recommended by the warranty. New duct connections failed after a short time because of shoddy work which resulted in a heat pump failure as it was trying to heat/cool the entire crawlspace. The replacement heat pump cost $5500. Not included is the cost of the wasted energy in trying heat my entire crawl space for approx. 10 years.

The tech checked it out, NO NEW UNIT! Just needed new capacitor. Fixed in no time

our home warranty service referred us to Carolina Comfort Controls when our heat stopped working This company could not fix our heat after a week of coming in and out of our home. In the end Carolina Comfort wanted to charge us close to $2000 to completely replace our unit. Air Specialties came in for a second opinion and found the issue and fixed the problem in approximately one hour, and cost us only $134.95. They are very personable and professional. I would recommend them as your first choice to resolve your HVAC issues.
