Susan Overfield

I had gone to lots of other trainers but the problems with my dog just got worse. One trainer wanted me to use a choke chain. One wanted me to use a clicker. One recommended treats and aromatherapy. Susan Overfield showed me why these methods don't work. I am convinced that Susan Overfield is the best dog trainer not only in Montana, but across the U.S. I am so happy with my dog now. He is well behaved, and he can go anywhere. Everyone asks me where I got my obedience training for my dog. Everyone asks if I took him to puppy class. Susan helped me with my dog, and did not use choke chains, clickers, or treats. She showed me how to communicate with my dog the way dogs do with each other. She guarantees her work. She is readily accessible and not only understood my dog, and the other dogs she trained that day, she understood the people. I understand that rescues and shelters that use her method of behavioral obedience do not have dogs returned. People have told me that they attended her speeches to veterinarians, pet industry groups, and others, and were awed by her fast paced, witty, substantive comments. My vet told me that when he needs to send people to a trainer, he always sends people to Susan for help with problem dogs. At the clinic I attended, she had all ages of dogs, including puppies, and all breeds. Some dogs were supposedly "aggressive" and some were timid. She helped them all. I had a friend whose dogs she trained in their home and they were amazed, because none of the regular "trainers" helped. She does clinics and trains all over the U.S. I now understand that if I get good behavior on my dog, I will get obedience. She is better than Millan.
