The guy, Louis, came out and assessed the damage on the wall and carpet. I asked him for a written summary of the findings. He said that he couldn't do that right now. I assumed at that time, that when he came out, he was supposed to be there. He did what I asked to be done. He took 3 small oriental rugs that had gotten wet and said he would clean the rugs and also let me know that I could rent fans from their store as well. After he came, I called my insurance company and was asked to start gathering estimates and reports. I mentioned to the insurance company that Restorx came out. They requested that I get an evaluation report from them. I decided I would go visit the store to rent the dryers and request a summary from the guy that came out. When I went to the store, I spotted Louis, who had come to the house, and he was in conversation with another man who apparently is the owner of that store. There was a lull in the conversation, so I called Louis by name and asked if he could help me with getting a written analysis. The other guy turned to me and told me that I wasted his employee's time as if it was my fault that his employee came to my house to investigate what happened. I told him I just came to get a written report and he said they are not giving me anything about that because they don't want to be liable if they give me any information in writing so they are not going to do it and that they don't have to give me anything because i haven't hired them. He said that since I was already paying a carpenter that it was his problem. He was screaming at me the whole time. I assume that if a professional is running a business that they will act professionally and be courteous to customers which was not the case. I was not happy with the way I was treated and I wanted to forewarn people if they were interested in doing business with this guy. Here's an example of his bullying, belligerent behavior. After he got done yelling at me about not being liable, he started to go back to his office. On his way back to the office, I told him politely that I hope he has a good day because he doesn't seem to be having a good day and seems to be angry. He then turned around and screamed at me that he wasn't angry and told me to get out of his store, which I declined and said that I was wanting to purchase some products. He told me that I am not buying anything from there and to just get out. I refused again and he threatened to call the police which I told him to go ahead. At that point, I turned to the lady at the counter where I was going to rent the dryers. She was the one who took my call to schedule the estimate. I asked her if she could take me back to buy the products I came in for and she said that she would not and that I better leave. I left at that point, and it wasn't until afterwards that I realized they still have my oriental rugs. I was kicked out of the store and fired as a client, even though I have been a loyal customer since 2001.
