Did an excellent job and did it under embergency conditions.

After dropping my stepsons off in Missoula to spend some time with their dad, my 4 year old daughter and I were returning to our home in Kalispell; a trip of about 100 miles. At just about the halfway point I noticed that my vehicle's charging gauge was indicating a loss off voltage output. It didn't take long to realize that we would not make it home! In fact, we barely made it to the edge of town at Ronan, MT when the lights and gauges all began to flutter - we were in trouble. I limped it in to Les Schwab Tire Center where it died. They don't always do mechanical work other than tires and brakes, etc, but they were the only shop in town that was still open late on a Saturday afternoon and they agreed to help. It took a while for them to even find an alternator - Ronan is not exactly a major metropolis! But find one they did, and they stayed open late to complete the work. The only alternator we could find was a new OEM part so it was pricey - Les Schwab had no control over that, but they were more than fair on their labor charge and were were soon on our way home. They didn't have to help us, it wasn't the kind of work they usually do; they didn't have to stay late, but they did, and my little girl and I were soon on our way home. I am so grateful for their excellent customer service. It would have been so much easier for them to simply say "sorry" and wish me luck, but they didn't! That Saturday could have been so much worse. Thay turned my bad day into a good day!
