Van Voorhis Painting

In July 2015 we hired Craig Van Voorhis to complete the outside painting on the higher peaks of our house.  Craig's quote was reasonable, he was prompt, efficient, professional, cleaned up after himself every day and he did excellent work.  
In October 2015 we hired Craig to scrape and paint our deck.  Again, Craig did an excellent job and even came back to fill in some areas in the wood that had begun to deteriorate - a job that was above and beyond what we hired him for and what was included in his quote.  
We hired Craig in November 2015 to paint our kitchen cabinets.  Again, all the adjectives used above apply to Craig's workmanship and professionalism for this last job as well.
We will definately contact Craig in the future for our painting needs!

We had tried several painters who never showed up and delayed our projects. Craig VanVoorhis was recommended by another painter who did not have an opening to help us.  We called Craig, left a message, he returned our call shortly, came the next day to review our needs, and had an estimate/contract in our mailbox the next morning.  He was able to work us in almost immediately, and as we showed him what we wanted done, we honestly felt that he cared more about our house than even we did.  He noticed several areas that we had not noticed, and his intentions for the job were much better than we ourselves would have done.  He worked for two full days, (his fees were the same as a different painter who gave us an estimate but never showed up), and his work was extremely thorough and comprehensive.  He was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the jobs that we needed to be done, was very precise with the preparation and painting, and even caulked places around the windows and siding which were not included in the original estimate, but which he felt needed to be done.  This at no extra cost.  He was very pleasant to be around (no loud music / inappropriate language) and cleaned everything up before he left.  We would have no hesitation in recommending him, or hiring him for our own future needs.
