The Pet Nanny

Since I had not used this service before, the owner scheduled an in-home visit to meet me and my cats.  Amber is extremely pleasant and friendly and she spent a good half hour or more with me going over the cat's requirements, learning where things were in the house, and getting to know the cats.  She was careful to learn about my diabetic cat's personality and the procedure I used to give the shots.  For this first pet sitting she did the visits.  The next time I used them (in June 2012), her "cat whisperer" did the pet sitting.  I have already scheduled to use them again this October.
A couple things I like very much about this service is that they send me a text message upon their first visit to the house to let me know they have visited and how things are going.  The last time I also got a picture of one of my cats.  In addition, they ask that I let them know when I arrive home so they know the cats will have someone there for them.  When I arrive home, there is always a note left for me about the cats and how things went.
Once established as a customer, future pet sitting requests can be made online.  They have always responded within a day to confirm dates, sending a brief reply immediately stating they will be in touch shortly to confirm.  I receive an email with confirmation and the amount due.  I am able to leave a check on the counter for them to pick up on the first visit.
My cats have always been great when I have arrived home.  The litter boxes are clean and the bits that stray outside the box are vacuumed up.   
I've been so pleased with The Pet Nanny.  It's so very nice to be able to leave my cats in their home environment and not have to board them with the vet.   I recommend this company without any hesitation.
