LEGENDARY HARDWOODS INC

It began wonderfully. They installed beautiful oak hardwood floors and stairs at a good price with an eco friendly water based finished (bona kemi traffic). However, there was an area of unfinished floor where the upper stair landing met the basement stairs (which is in the center of our house and very obvious). Our general contractor did not notice this problem and paid legendary hardwoods for the complete project. We informed LH of this unfinished part to complete and they told us they would complete it soon. Well, months down the road they were still giving us the run around and even began to ignore our phone calls. They ultimately never responded and we had to hire another company to finish this project. It only took about 2 hours for this other company to complete. If LH had just done it, they would have received our raving review. Instead I want to let people know how unprofessional and down right rude this company was to us. We spent $10,000 with them and they could have had the courtesy to finish the job. It's also good to advise people to never pay your contractor in full until the job is complete. Because of this we will never hire them for any work again and hope others will consider other more "professional" companies ahead of this company.
