JERRY'S TRANSMISSION

I was having shifting problems with my truck and i stopped of at jerrys w/o an appt. they squeezed me in for a quick test drive and inspection and determined it was my hydraulic clutch. they explained the basics of how to do it myself and that is what i did for about $70 in parts and an hour labor. I really appreciated that they did not try to sell me what i did not need.

The service was very professional. estimated time of completion was acurate. The final price was reasonable and no added charges. Absolutely no problems and again very professional staff and mechanics. very satisfied!

The transmission on my 2007 Chevy Silverado failed at 61,000 miles as I was driving from Missoula to Hamilton. I took it to the Chevy dealer in Hamilton and they wanted over $2800 to repair it, and I would have to wait a week for the transmission to come in. I called the Chevy dealer in Missoula and they were cheaper, but also didn't have the transmission in stock. Jerry's was the same price as the Missoula Chevy dealer, and had the transmission in stock and were ready to start as soon as I got there. I had the truck towed back to Missoula and they got it fixed in two days. Their follow up care was very good, and I recommend them. The new transmission came with an 18 month warranty.

I had noticed a spot on my garage floor and discovered my truck was leaking for about two days. I stopped by Jerry's to have it looked at.
Kurt Johnson, the owner, looked at it less than five minutes after I pulled in.
He hooked it up to his computer diagnostic handset and found the problem right away. It took him less that two minutes.
Kurt went into the office and phoned his parts supplier and ordered the part, hung up and told me, " It's on the way, just leave your truck here for a bit" .
He suggested coming back in a hour. I left and returned after only one hour and it was done. I ask him what I owed him and he suggested I drive it around until tomorrow to see if that fixes the problem before I payed him ( Can you believe that?) and if it does not rectify the problem he would check it again. And if the sensor did fix the leak, then he'd let me know what it would cost.
It indeed fixed the leak and when I returned the following day to my amazement he only charged me $59.00. Fifty nine bucks!
$24.00 for the part and $35.00 for a half hour of labor.

Before going to Jerry's Transmission I called the dealership to see how much it would cost to have them look at it and they told me $65.00 just to look at it, plus parts and labor.

Kurt Johnson......... they just don't make em' like him anymore. This guy can make Abe Lincoln look like a crook.
