It's going very well. I have known Larry for a few years when he and I worked for Caras Nursery here in Missoula. He is a Master Gardener, and is willing to do whatever I want done, and has given me help from sharpening my own garden tools to advice on when to move or prune shrubs and plants.
He arrives every other Wednesday between 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM and gives me 4 hours of work without stopping. Larry is very careful not to damage plants hiding under the weeds and grass. I have been unable to maintain my garden for 2 years, so it was a real mess!
It's been quite a relief to find someone I can depend on to do what I suppose some would call menial work. Other people I have known have had quite a time finding someone who is thorough and dependable. The job from now on will be to spread a thick layer of straw over the areas he has weeded so the yard won't look abandoned next year.
I look forward to working with Larry in the future.
