Our ice maker stopped working. Butch came over and said that it was a frozen line. He claimed to have defrosted it and that it should be working within 24 hours. It did not start working. He said our ice maker must be broken then, so we agreed to have him replace it. When he came by to replace the ice maker, he said that not only was the ice maker broken but so was the infrared sensor. He would get the part the following Tuesday--it was Friday. We said fine. Tuesday came and nothing. Wednesday, nothing. My wife called and left message and he did not return her call. We called repeatedly over the next week and a half and his voice mail was full. Finally, I got a hold of him on a Thursday, nearly a full two weeks after he dismantled our ice maker and left it on top of our fridge. He claimed to have just got the part we needed the day before and we scheduled an appointment for the following Friday morning (today). He did not show up. When I called him, he said that he forgot about us, didn't have our address, but that he could schedule something. I told him to forget it, we would find somebody else to do it. He didn't apologize, he simply said, and quot;OK, fineand quot; and hung up.
Overall, unprofessional and not dependable.

Washing machine would not complete a spin cycle, leaving excess water in the drum. Serviceman found a clogged filter, which we could not locate or reach. He removed it, cleaned it, and now the machine works like new.

It went fabulously!!!! Butch always shows up when he says he will. He is good to my dog. He gently reminded me that he hadn't seen payment for my last work with him (6 months ago). I was horrified. I told him I was sure I'd paid him. After I researched, I hadn't. He was such a gentleman about it. When I called to schedule the install, his wife who dies his scheduling was so helpful. We worked around a difficult schedule, but she was paitent and walked me through it. This is a family business, and I like supporting small business of such high quality. I would never use anyone else. I recommend Butch with full confidence.

We had a leaking washing machine. The repairman gave an appraisal and needed to order a part. He gave a time when he would be back the following week with the part to replace. My roommate and I took special time away from work to be present at the time he stated but he did not show. After several unreturned phone calls and messages he got back to us, stating he would be around the following day. He did show up, although later than the promised time. It took him only fifteen minutes to complete. The washer seemed fine until we ran the first load...it started right back up leaking again. Luckily, the second time we called the repairman he was far more responsive and came back to straighten up what he had missed (turned out to just be a clamp) free of charge. He was very professional and apologetic. Not a very punctual company, but they get the job done for a reasonable price.

We rent our house and when we first moved in, it was under a bit of a kitchen renovation. When it was finally all completed, we had a used but still nice dishwasher. After a few months (approximately 5 months), it died. Just up and went to the big appliance heaven. So after contacting our landlord for months regarding it, he finally told us to contact Butch ourselves. Insert another 4-ish months trying to get him out here to replace it! We left messages, talked to actual people, and tried to set up appointments, but to no avail! When he finally did come over, he got the job done fast and with no complaints from us! Granted the whole installation of the new one and everything took less than 45 minutes once he was here, it was just getting him here that was so awful! We will use Butch's again. Why? Getting him out here may be hard, but his prices are too good! I may be able to get someone else out here faster, but they'll charge me more and Butch does good work at good prices. I'll just try to plan a little better in the future!!
