Put a pump in lake attached to dock footing where it was partial out of water and could be touched by someone.   He ran wiring up to house thru a series of plastic pipes, underground, and some just wrapped with electrical tape.     Also installed new control box for sprinkler system.
1.  The electrical inspector had a stroke when he saw the pump hanging under the dock, the shoddy wiring, including a conduit blocking an access window in basement.
2.  He installed a control box on the outside of house, that was rated to only be installed inside.   Also the box he installed had been discontinued 2 years earlier by manufacturer....verified by supplier and Internet search
3. Pump was 1/2 hp and should have been 3/4 hp .   It was too small and could not supply enough power to get water to all
stations adequately
When confronted with the control box problem, said that model just couldn't have been discontinued.....and said he just
grabbed the indoor model box by mistake ....
Will not reimburse for any costs....will only send in control box to company for 1 year warranty because box has failed several times   I doubt if they find out it was used outside they will pay anything.
Had to hire another company.
