WOODLAND FLORAL and GIFTS

Stay away! I have ordered flowers from many different places and I have never had issues like I did with Woodland Florist. I wanted to have flowers and a couple balloons delivered to my boyfriend?s house after his surgery. I am out of town and could not hand deliver. I decided to go with an arrangement which had a cute vintage truck as the vase. I went with the ?Standard? arrangement which seemed nice and full with plenty of flowers. I ordered online very early in the morning and was able to choose same day delivery. I also noted in ?special requests? that it was okay to leave the arrangement on his covered porch where the main entrance was, if he happened to not be home yet from the hospital. I received a phone call later that morning from a female worker stating that there would be an additional charge for the delivery ($8.50 plus $3.50) due to the address apparently being far away (MapQuest said it was an 11 min drive) So although that was frustrating I decided it was fine and agreed to pay the additional charge. On top of that they stated they could not leave the flowers on the porch and that they needed the recipient?s phone number to call before they delivered to make sure they were home to receive flowers, and would not deliver until they contacted recipient. I thought this was ridiculous and ruined the element of surprise. I was clearly frustrated but agreed to provide his phone number. Then the girl stated that it was too late to deliver and the flowers now and would go out the next morning. NO flowers we delivered the next day. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited all day, expecting them to be delivered at some point. NOTHING. So now 2 DAYS LATER and NO flowers! They were closed and I decided to call first thing the next morning to find out what the issue was. Arrange flowers, deliver to address, leave. It?s not Rocket Science people. Thankfully I woke up the next morning to a message along with a picture from my boyfriend who had finally received the flowers. Here?s the Icing on the cake?The picture I was sent of the arrangement was laughable. The arraignment did not look nearly as nice as the picture on their website. Not nearly as full and NOT 1 single rose in the arrangement. Roses do not go out of season. Pathetic! Nearly $80 later and I am extremely disappointed with the service and floral arraignment. I will never order from Woodland Florist again and I would advise others that it is not worth the money or the headache.

We were so pleased when we saw our flower arrangement... it went above and beyond our expectations, even though we've had wonderful service in the past. It was delivered on time to our hosts' home. Since we had place the order over the phone, we couldn't see examples but the sales person was knowledgeable, helpful and gave several suggestions to choose from. We have been customers of Woodland Floral and Gifts for over 30 years and have always been happy with their beautiful flower designs, and their service. If we ever had a problem (rarely) we were treated courteously and the problem was solved to our satisfaction. Over the years, we have ordered the gamut of flowers; funerals, wedding flowers, birthdays, anniversaries-you name it, and we have always ordered from Woodland Floral with great success. Their shop is fun to shop in, too. They have a really nice selection of gifts and many silk or permanent designs to choose from. We have had several custom-made table and wall pieces made for our home and have loved every one of them. We whole-heartedly recommend Woodland Floral!
