Real Estate Service
We were contemplating selling our home on the lake in 2009, we had not listed it yet, but had discussed it with a few realtor friends. Crystal Cox of Ten Lakes Realty shows up and tells us she has a buyer wanting our home if we would only list it with her. She promised a quick sale, promised us a discount, blah blah blah. Well we listed it with her without checking around, and poof..... no buyer. There never was one. Turns out this is a common trick of hers to tie up listings in her name to avoid anyone else selling them. worst of all is that the listing was not included in the MLS data base so no one even looked at the place for a year. In the meantime the market went to h*** and we lost our a** when we did sell it with a real realtor.
