Rugged Ridge Contracting

I'd give Rugged Ridge ZERO stars if I could due to lack of integrity, dishonesty. For siding replacement Tallon exceeded the initial estimate by over $1,739 with the final invoice I was charged an additional $703 over the second estimate. That's contrary to the verbiage on Rugged Ridge's estimates as stated: This is only an estimate - it is the customer?s responsibility to review. If additional time and materials are required to complete the project, we will notify you as soon as possible, and additional material/labor fees will apply. Despite the final invoice giving me 10 days to payTallon demanded payment the following day after completion of the job! When Tallon arrived I asked what is the reason for the steep overcharge with Tallon remaining silent. Tallon has the audacity to refer to other contractors as being shady! I call that classic projection. I'll never hire Tallon Taylor again and I will refrain from giving him any referrals for his dishonesty, lack of integrity!

The fit and finish greatly exceeded our expectations. Excellent attention to detail, and completed all the work on-time, exactly as quoted and estimated, with hard-to-find work ethic and integrity. Friendly, polite & considerate crew, always arrived on time and when they said they would. Honestly, the best workmanship we have seen here in Montana.

The professional leveled a single wide. I had cracking going on. Time will tell if it worked. The workers kept me in formed of the progression of work being completed.

I received an estimate in late April, but due to a medical issue, I was not able to confirm this job until mid-August. The estimate was for $800, and after confirming, they would still honor the $800 estimate. I had them schedule my job. During the scheduling of the job, the owner of the company was happy about my job as he stated it would fill their week due to another job being finished up. Once the job was completed, I received an invoice for more than the agreed estimate. There was no explanation for the up charge, so I inquired. I was told it was due to them having to remove and reinstall a single sheet of vinyl siding. I questioned them about this, as I had installed at least 10 sheet of siding, which had been part of the estimate for them to do. On the second response from this company, they then changed the excuse for the up charge due to them having to squeeze me into their schedule. I then called the owner, who basically stated that even though he agreed to the $800 estimate, the cost was more due to them doing a quality job. Stay clear of this company as they do not honor their estimates, and if anyone wants to see my email change, I have reference this I will show them.

The entire team at Rugged Ridge was very professional. From the estimate to the installation they were always on time and prepared. They actually found time in their schedule to complete our installation ahead of the originally planned date. During the installation they communicated with us every step. And even when the weather turned bitter cold, they completed to job on time with the quality we expected. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to our friends.
