As usual.  Been going to Jim and his crew at NW Automotive for years.  He has always been top notch in repairs, but more important, he has been on the money in diagnosing odd issues correctly.  I can't think of a time where he's had to fix something 2 or 3 times before he got it right.  He won't be the cheapest mechanic you've ever been to, (when has that ever worked out?).   But I've found he charges fair prices for good, quality service, and he is thorough.

This is a fantastic shop. I've been taking my vehicles here for a few years now, and Jim is always straight with me about what is (or isn't) needed. He has even gone so far as to advise I have some auto body repairs done so that the road debris/dust/dirt getting into the engine compartment wouldn't cause future issues for the vehicle, and future business for him.
These guys are honest - I've paid as little as $35 for a repair that a dishonest shop could have charged me and arm and a leg for. I don't hesitate to recommend this shop to everyone. Other friends who use this shop have had similar positive experiences - one retells a story about the local dealership telling her the vehicle needed a new seal (leaking oil). She took it here for a second opinion, and they confirmed it was simply that the last person that had changed the oil (also the dealership noted above, incidentally) didn't put the oil pan cap on tightly enough.
I love that they send me reminders about service that's due, based on my mileage. I can also schedule an appointment online.
