L & M TREE SVC

They knew what they were doing and did it quickly. The best thing was that they came and took care of the job a half hour after we called! My only complaint was that the stumps were left very tall - 3-4 feet - & we had to deal with those ourselves. We also had to clear all of the debris. For the price, I think they should have fully finished the job.

They showed up promptly, worked together, and the whole time they were here. Nice clean cut, quiet gentlemen. Cleaned up all their mess....will call them again.

They gave us a great deal.  They took it down on the coldest day in January also.

I called to request the service and they were very prompt at returning calls and coming over to walk around and discuss the job.  His estimate was over our budget so I asked him to help me prioritize based on how much we wanted to spend.  Some of the branch trimmings on other trees were skipped to maintain the budget.  We agreed on a good date/time for the work when I would be home and they called to change it a day or two later to a time when I could only meet with them for a few minutes then would have to leave.  I thought this might work out ok since we had talked at length about what we wanted.  They arrived late and I only could wave to them as I was pulling away.  When I arrived home they had done a great job of cleaning up and making sure there was no evidence of their work.  However they had removed WAY too many branches on the birch tree!  I thought we understood each other about removing only the low branches all around the tree and came home to find at least twenty large limbs removed with a now almost palm-tree-shaped birch.  What's done is done and I simply thanked them and sent them on their way but I doubt I would hire them again or if I did I would supervise them VERY closely.  It was partly my mistake for not being home at the time I'm sure.  He also came by again later that day to get paid immediately which felt a bit unprofessional.  A simple bill in the mail would have sufficed. 

A friend recommended them to me as a very good company - licensed/insured/bonded. I called on Monday, talked to owner about meeting me at house. Met about 4:30, went over what I wanted done. he answered every question I had. Told him I had a limited amount of money to spend and told him my priories. As it turns out, I was able to get everything done I needed at this time. they arrived the next day (Tuesday) and were done before i got home from work. Very happy with them.
