J Lyman Roofing & Siding

I am VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH J. LYMAN ROOFING. They started out just fine. Bid on a new metal roof for our house. They landed on site in late August 2011, and promised at the time that it would take "up to 2 weeks" to complete the job. Guess what, it's STILL NOT COMPLETED, as of late August 2012. Sure, it was an old home with very few square corners. The workers said it was a pain to do, but they were handling it. Then, they ran out of material and told us that it was on order and they would return within a couple of weeks to complete the job (one small roof on our large old house remains un-roofed, with all shingles torn off and totally exposed to the elements - it remains that way for a whole year after they left.Repeated calls to the owner of the business reulted in "oh darn, those guys haven't finished it yet? I'll get them right over there and get the darn thing finished, I promise." type of excuses from the owner.... numerous times. I know that we have discussed this with him at least 6 times and every one of those resulted in him promising to get it done "within a week" and so forth.They left us with no other choice but to take the company to court. We will see how they like Small Claims Court, paperwork was just filed
