The painting went rather smoothly. I contacted him, he responded quickly (within a day) to provide a quote, and was able to finish the painting job within the timeframes we'd agreed upon. However, this additional task of putting in new knobs on interior doors that needed to be drilled was completed - but with a week of him stating "I'll have it done" by this date, and failing to show. This required me initiating calls to him inquiring as to his plans for completion. Indeed, on one door, it was I who had to go out and get the additional screws to finish the job.
