My landlord insists on using this business and they have wasted so much time and money just for simple issues that they make worse. The level of unprofessionalism and disrespect is astounding, especially as a small local business. Every time, there's an issue with them sending someone on time, hours late, not announcing when they come in, leaving a mess and leaving all the doors and gates open on top of not even saying they're all done. When there IS any interaction, Todd specifically, is extremely rude and disrespectful. I had my dog inside with the basement and back doors open to where I needed the work done and he tried to barge inside my kitchen without giving me the opportunity to pull my dog back and put him in a bedroom. Having spicket and leak issues with flooding and standing water in the basement, along with pressure issues that kept blowing out my hoses, we simply requested to double check the lines previously worked on and testing the water pressure to eliminate future damage to the property and appliances. He was extremely short and kept saying there was no issue. He kept trying to hook my hose up to the spicket with the pressure issues after we requested he not do that unless he's going to replace the hose after the water pressure damages my last good hose. He finally tested the pressure and it was 130! He was supposed to send another guy back to install a regulator on the line to make it within code, which is 80. The guy was 2 hours late, took an hour and a half to install the regulator, but installed it on the wrong line! Had to call them back out again and finally got it right but left a mess. I do NOT recommend this business if you want a job done right, efficiently, or with any level of decency when it comes to customer service.

I contacted Clark’s Plumbing in April to run a gas line for a gas stove and add an additional outside water tap. We purchased the gas stove and just waited for the line to be run. I had to call repeatedly to get the job finished. Clark’s couldn’t seem to facilitate the trenching with the landscape company THEY worked with! I finally had to call the landscaping company and set up the trenching. The line was FINALLY installed in November! We were charged $92 an hour for permitting, scheduling with the gas company and all labor - on top of the parts. I know I spent at least 4 hours during the whole process on the the phone just trying to get the job finished as promised. The outside water tap was never installed. This job took SEVEN months, $2,400.00 and way too much aggravation! Now we get a bill for the trenching!! THAT wasn’t included in the $2,400!!!! I would never recommend this company.

Repairman showed up as scheduled and changed out the disposal in about an hour. Found Clark's Plumbing to be very professional.

Wonderful. Todd (the owner) was able to get me scheduled in the middle of the same day I called. His son (apprentice) came out and systematically diagnosed and repaired the toilet all while instructing me on what he was doing and why. He also gave me a lot of helpful information about what to watch for and various information on replacement parts (price, quality, ect). All work was done clean and efficiently. Very polite and professional.

It went very well. Clark's Plumbing & Heating plumbers do great work. I was surprised at the cost but then I was reminded that the hot water heater is a hybrid system that works in conjunction with the furnace (which is more expensive than a stand-a-lone hot water heater).

First the good:
Todd Clark was a really nice guy who sent someone to install the heater when he said he would. The fellow did a first rate job of actually installing the water heater.  These guys are skilled plumbers.
Now the bad:
Todd came to look at the job, then sent his young relative to do the job. Not a deal breaker, but unexpected.
The job took a long time to schedule because our job was low on their priority list. There was a cold snap, and our job was postponed to handle more pressing issues. Sort of understandable, but still, one doesn't want to be pushed down the list.
The young man who installed the heater was fast and efficient, but he left a big mess for me to clean up in our basement. The heater is in our laundry room which has a painted concrete floor. He dumped a bunch of sediment on the floor, which ran to the floor drain, and on the way left a sludgy mess. He then said in something of a confrontational tone, "I'll leave this for you to clean up unless you want to pay a plumber's hourly rate for clean up." I did elect to clean it up myself, but...
I completely understand if you're having a bad day. But this was disrespectful. He might have said, "This job is messy and our policy is not to charge for clean up because most people elect to do it themselves."
I was hoping this recommended company would be one we could call on again, but will think twice now. Not because of the price or skill level, but I just felt like the installer did not appreciate the work. Too bad. Todd was a great guy.
