Capital City Health Club

Their prices are medium, because they are new and they have a lot of services. I don't think they are outrageously expensive. It is very nice and clean, and they take a lot of care with it. The people are very friendly. They have all kinds of things that are pretty technical. Their equipment and everything is very, very nice. You have to have a membership to go there. I don't have a membership, but it is very easy to go in, they give you day-passes. Actually their availability is good. If you just want to go check it out for a day, they will give you a day-pass, so they are very helpful. Personally it is far for me. The location in itself is very good because that is where a lot of business are. But I would even go there from where I am just because the place is so nice.

When we first went in, I wasn't sure what to expect. Most of the time, when we've tried a new club, it has been hit or miss. This club was different. We were given a tour and my husband's membership began right away (though his Medicare). I was given a seven day pass, and when I was unable to attend immediately following the initial contact, they restarted my week with the first day I was able to go. They addressed our concerns, specifically that we would be moving out of state at the end of the summer and I didn't want to sign up for a two year membership when I could only used it a few months. I was assured that if we moved out of the area that they would terminate my membership without charging me the early termination fee, but that financially it was a better option to sign up than to do a month to month. We have been very happy with the services available there, and the tide pool they have is my absolute favorite. They have a lot of classes which are scheduled at varying hours so if you want to attend a water aerobics class, for example, there is one in the morning and one in the evening to choose from. I would reccommend this health club over all other area health clubs.

This place is **spectacular**. I can't fully describe how fantastic it is to have a real health club in town after YEARS of dingy, dilapidated health clubs. The machines are all new with individual TV's attached. The facility is kept imaculate at all times, in the 8+ months I've been going there I have never seen it anything but sparkling. The staff are super friendly and greet and my wife by name whenever we come in. The pool area is just fantastic, they have both a lap pool (where the serious swimmers go) and a 'splash pool' (where all the kids / families hang out). The two are isolated from each other by glass, so you don't have to be bombarded by kids noises and toys while you try and work out. I cannot recommend this place enough.

When we walk in the door, everybody is really nice and anxious to help us. They do have a great facility. It is new and nice.

The facility is modern and up to date. There are people there to help me if I need them. My membership is included in my health plan.
