I have worked with Terry L. Towner (TLT, Inc) for many years, with projects ranging from simple remodels to high end new construction. He has always shown the greatest respect and professionalism with the homeowners. He is involved with every phase of the building process, from helping with site selection, to making a mock up of the powder room for color selections.
Terry understands that new construction can be very exciting, but very intimidating to even a and quot;multiple home ownerand quot;. And that remodels are just as important to the homeowner as a high end new construction. Terry gives all those he works with a great amount of respect, and it shows. His communication and patience with the clients is outstanding. They always know what is going on with their project at all time. With out of state clients, there are weekly photo updates, so they still feel they are part of the project.
I always advise homeowners to get references and call them. This is so important! He is still invited to the homes that he built, or worked on, over twenty years ago, just to visit and have coffee. That is a very rare thing, so many builders and homeowner relationship start off great and end horrific. Terry always has in mind this is their dream. This is their home, and wants it to be a pleasant experience. He looks out for their best interests, from the cost of building materials, to the quality of products.
To have a contractor who puts on his nail bags everyday and work side by side with the subs is becoming more and more rare. His third generation craftsmanship shows in everything he does. From creating the arches in a tour of homes, to laying the tile in a custom marble spa, or just replacing the sub floor for a new vinyl application, I always know if Terry Towner is on the job, the job will be done right.
