Pella

The 250 series Pella windows are really nice. The workers were here everyday they said they would be, and got right to work. They were a little sloppy though. They were also really "stingy" with the foam between the windows and window sill. They left huge gaps where you could see straight outside. After mentioning it to the boss they started to use a little more. I was a little upset when they just left the glue, finger prints, and what ever else on the window but for 2000+ less than other places I guess cleaning them myself did not kill me. They installed a window and a few days later my husband noticed they forgot to put the lock on it (you think they would check that). Upon calling the boss he came right over and fixed it. Overall as long as you keep an eye on what their doing and voice what you want done they doing a good job. For upgraded windows, trim, and labor we really saved a lot compared to the other quotes we got and we really like our windows. The previous owner of our house had already replaced 3 windows but did not do the trim on them. When doing all the other trim they also trimmed those three windows. For the Windows them selves the ones that slide side to side open really easily from the start. The ones that open up and down take a little time to get worked and are a little stiffer to begin. After a few months of having them they are much easier.
