Maintenance By The Yard

I will never go through this company again. Completely unprofessional and took on a contract they couldn't fulfill. Signed a contract for spring cleanup and biweekly mows in April. They don't show up till the end of June to try to mow my lawn after my husband and I put the work in ourselves. We stop them from doing our lawn when they finally decided to show up 2 months later and expect to get paid for doing what exactly...oh yeah not even 25% of our lawn. And when I called to talk to them the lady was extremely rude and all she can say is see you in court. Very unprofessional and I will make sure to tell everyone not to go through this company.

They used a leaf blower to blow out the gutters. Seemed smart. It only took them about 15 mins to do the whole house, which seemed a little too fast. I asked to make sure they also got the downspouts clean, and they said yes. It rained that very week and two of my gutters wouldn't drain. Later I actually climbed a ladder to check one of the two gutters and the downspout was clogged. I had to dig it out myself. I will probably use them again and just watch more carefully to make sure ALL the downspouts get cleared.

Awesome!  Maintenance by the Yard is a lifesaver for me -I have my grass mowed every week by them and they do a wonderful job.  My lawn looks beautiful and I am so thankful that I don't have to worry about going out and mowing. Super dependable, friendly and professional service for a reasonable price.  I highly recommend Mike and his crew.

AMAZING!! I hate doing yard work and after my husband was deployed the responsibility fell upon me. I called several companies for estimates and Maintenance by the yard was the most reasonable price. The owner showed up exactly when he said he would for the estimate and even gave me a written estimate. Free of charge. He told me all the options available and made suggestions as to what needed to be done. Due to his punctuality and professionalism, I signed up for a weekly mowing and monthly edging. He even pulled all those pesky weeds for me so I could plant my garden! Every week he is on time and preforms a quality job at a reasonable cost. There were no hidden costs and no surprises when my bill came. One of my biggest pet peeves is when a company says one price and you get a bill with extra fees for things you didn't agree to. My yard has never looked so good! I was so impressed, I told all my girlfriends about this company.

My phone call was answered by a real person, not an answering machine, which was a good start. We made appointment for the next morning for an estimate and got a price we thought was fair. The crew showed up on time the next day and was very accommodating when we asked for a little help with repairs. We voluntarily paid $20 over the estimate of $60 for the extra work. Very satisfied - I have already given their card to a friend who needs work done.

I called for a free estimate he came over same day and quoted me a very reasonable price compared to the other companies I had contacted. The came to do the job a few days after and it looks wonderful!
