Hi-Line Moving and Storage

I moved about 5 years ago.  The company was fine. The experience was distressful.  I moved out of Alaska, and I paid $6000 for just driving down.  They just pass the boxes and bring it down, but I have had everything packed.  It was $6000 just for loading up the truck and bringing it down.  I didn’t bring any furniture.  I went with them because they all are very competitive and Hi-line goes through the Great Falls which is on the road to Lewistown.  Lewistown is 120 miles from Great Falls, it is along the Alaska Highway, otherwise you have to ship on ferries.  They went down the Alaska Highway through Canada and into the Great falls and down to Lewistown, and it took 10 days.  We tried a lot of company and they were more expensive.  They were not punctual with the time and the people they outsourced it to were 12 hours late getting up to my house in Alaska.  They got stuck in my yard and it was a plain stretch.  It was a very ugly experience on that side.  The people were very pleasant, but it is a stressful thing to move after 35 years.

They did an awesome job and nothing got broken. They were very good movers. The dispatcher was very knowledgeable, very friendly and very well spoken. He was able to talk me through everything. He was gracious towards me because my wife does all the business stuff.
